Jodie Whittaker. Never heard of her, but I'm totally cool with it. Some people, in the comments section are wigging out, over a woman playing the Doctor. I had to laugh. The character of the Doctor is an alien who can regenerate as assume a different form every time he does so. So far, he's only been a white male, but I have no problem with him being a female. Or a person of color. Or hell, an actual non-human alien type. Who the hell cares? As long as the stories are good, fun and entertaining, I'm down with it.
However, in the era of tRump and Brexit, I'm not at surprised that some white men would be upset about this. Get over your misogyny, fellas, you're supposed to be a Whovian, not a close minded, inbred redneck.
