Today by the underappreciated Paul Smith, we have profile headshots of the Uncanny X-men. See how each is different, I mean, the different heights, the different types of noses on each one? Those things are some of what makes him so great. Lots of artists draw them in different costumes, yes, but they don't spend a lot of time on facial features like he does.
Storm, Colossus, Kitty Pryde, Lockheed, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, Rogue, and Wolverine,
This was the team when he was drawing them, and frankly, I think it's one of the greatest lineups they've ever had.
