Chapter 8, Page 26....
Wednesday, I had a horrible time getting up, and got stuck in the road construction traffic, so I didn't get to work until almost an hour late. I had a meeting at noon, so I spent the morning getting things ready to that. And after the meeting, I got other things done that needed done, so all in all, it was a productive day.
After work, I got home and check a few hookup apps. One guy on there had messaged me(named Neil) and we chatted for a few minutes before we decided he should come over. And so he did. And an hour and a half later, after intense amazing bedtimesexxyfun, he left. But in addition to all that, there was chatting and cuddling and laughter. He's a sweet guy. I like him. We agreed he'd come back again, and we agreed it wouldn't just be about the bedtimesexxyfun. I mean, if it IS just about that, that'll still be a great freakin time. But I think both of us would like to do more than just that. But we'll see. And at any rate, I had a smile on my face the rest of the evening.
After this, I was famished, so I ordered a small pizza, picked it up, brought it home and devoured it. I did some stuff online while on NetFlix streaming, I watched some episodes of the Doctor Who/Donna Noble season. I think I'll watch all of them in a row here, that's a good season.
Mom also called me. She told me her lanline at the cottage had gotten turned on, so now she had that available to her, finally. And she said the people that are buying the house called her. They bid on some stuff at her online auction: the picnic table, the riding lawnmover, a box full of kids books, other things, and they won them. They asked if they could just leave them there instead of taking them out of the house on Wednesday only to return them on Monday. Mom said that's fine. They're really excited about the house! And why shouldn't they be?
After this, I went to bed (still smiling) read some, and then went to sleep.

Tuesday, I had trouble getting up, but I made it to work. I had a lot of work to get done, and I got most of it finished, which was a good thing. Also, on a better note, my tooth hurt less this day than the day before, so that's a positive thing. I took an Ibuprophen at 8 in the morning, they're supposed to last 8 hours, but I was feeling a little pressure around 2, so i took another then. Other than that, no biggie. I still took the anti-biotic every twelve hours, and I took a Vicodin before I went to sleep.
But before that, I spent the evening doing all the normal shit: tv, reading, computer, even found time to go to the grocery store and to take a short nap. Went I went up to bed (after taking the Vicodin) I took a shower then went to bed to read and to sleep.

Chapter 8, Page 24...
So I got up Monday with my lower jaw still hurting. I called the dentist office and left a message. Then I just putzed around here doing the normal shit, and a load of laundry.
At like 2pm, after hearing nothing from them, and since the office is literally right across the street from my house, I just walked over. I found the office open, and much to my surprise, the assistants were there too, but no dentist. They were basically answering the phones. His one main assistant asked me to get in the chair and she looked at it. She came up with three possibilities, but none of them sounded correct to me: a gum problem, bruising, or another abscess but below this tooth. At any rate, they got me started on a stronger antibiotic and a stronger painkiller (generic Vicodin). I started the antibiotic right away, but didn't take the Vicodin until I went to bed, just so it would help me sleep.
During the afternoon, I did the regular stuff again, watching quite a bit of TV, and taking a pleasant nap on the couch.
And then, when it was time for bed, that's where I went, read some and to sleep.

Fear takes my breath away, I'm saving my skin...
Last night I watched, with StratCat, the 90 minute pilot episode of "Fear The Walking Dead."
It was okay. Nothing special, but it did a very good job of setting everything up: introducing the character, the situation, and showing how it all began. There were a few examples of the lazy writing that leads to stupid character actions that I've come to associate with some of the regular Walking Dead episodes. But by and large, it was entertaining.
The name, however, sucks. Seriously, they couldn't come up with ANY better name than that? "The Walking Dead 2" "The Walking Dead West" "The Walking Dead, Los Angeles" "The Walking Dead: The Beginning". Yeah, not all of those are great either, but I think they're all better than "Fear the Walking Dead". oh well.
I must say, though, the eye candy was quite prevalent. I dont recall seeing so many cute guys in one show that isn't about cute hot guys specifically. I mean, the show starts out with Nick in a tight shirt, but hanging wide open, showing off his slim smooth chest. In fact, we see him walking around and running through a church and the street dressed exactly the same way. That was a pleasant way to begin a show. See:

But let's look at the rest of the cute guys:

All this makes me optimistic for the future of this show, what with all the hot guys so far. Makes up for the relative lack of hot guys in the main Walking Dead series.
Although, I did find it humorous that the black guys are getting turned first: Calvin, for sure, and possibly Matt. And the school's principal is black, and I'm pretty sure I saw him staggering down the hallway in a preview of next week's episode.
At any rate, I'll be sticking with the show, I'm looking forward to seeing just how society collapses. And collapses without a President Trump in the White House. Course society would ceratinly implode much quicker in the second scenario...but I digress.....
