Why? I mean they canceled the original Law & Order, and then the very next season, make this. Again, I ask, Why? Did they run out of stories to tell in New York? Is there any story they can tell in LA that they couldn't tell in NY? Other than one involving the murder of an orange grove magnet or something.
I liked the original NY L&O. It was dark, and gritty, and sometimes, they were out in the snow and cold and they were realistic. Much like NYC itself. Now, in the LA L&O everything will be sunny and warm and no snow in sight and they'll be false and plastic-like. Much like LA itself. Blech.
Instead of watching these new shows, I'll just watch the daily three hours of repeats of the original Law & Order on A&E every afternoon.
