So in the midst of all my angst and wearing of the Crankypants, I got some good news today.

The results of grandma's surgery came back. The doctor took out 23 lymph nodes and each and every one of them was cancer free. The tumor itself was contained to the colon, he removed 6 inches of it, and there's no sign of cancer anywhere else in her colon. Or her body in general for that matter.

So she's cancer free! And she's improving more and more each day. She's back to eating solid foods regularly, although she doesn't eat as much as she used to, but still it's better than it was.

So yeah, this is indeed very good news!
