So today, to the surprise of absolutely no one, Lincoln Chafee dropped out of the race for the Democratic nomination.  Well I guess it was something of a surprise to those who didn't realize he had ever really dropped in it.

He was never a serious candidate and never had even the longest shot at getting the nomination and had absolutely zero chance of becoming president.  And no one took him seriously.  I mean, come on, when you make your announcement that you're running, your main campaign issue is the metric system?  *SIGH*
