Anniversary Avengers
Today, we have the next hero to join the team, the Original Human Torch!
During World War II an android was built and it combusted into fire upon exposure to air. It took the name Jim Hammond and became the hero Human Torch. He fought along Captain America and the Sub-Mariner. After the end of WWII, he shut down. He remained deactivated until Ultron found his body, and used that to make the hero Vision. Or at least that's what we though for years, until it was revealed that the ACTUAL Human Torch was found reactivated and became "alive" again. (apparently Ultron found a proto-type Human Torch body and used that for the VIsion, but not the actual body...or something like that) Anyway, Human Torch was found in Los Angeles and so he joined The West Coast Avengers for awhile.
The Human Torch has not yet been seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
