Chapter 10, Page 1...
Welcome to October. I had trouble getting up and so I just called in and took an hour off to go in late. And so I did. Work was okay, nothing exciting, just the normal drudgery, and I did get the paperwork done that needed to get done.
After work, as we planned, I stopped by Derick's place, and some great bedtimesexxyfun ensued. Afterwards, i stopped by Taco Bell for some take out supper. I came home, ate it, and then settled down in front of the computer and the Thursday Night Football pre-game show. I also updated my checkbook and paid some bills. There was no loud music all evening again. And after a bit of watching the game, I just decided to go to bed.
I read some, and then drifted off into sleep.
I woke up about 4:00 to use the bathroom, and when I went back to bed, I couldn't seem to shut my brain down to get back to sleep. I did, of course, eventually, but not until some time had passed.
