Chapter 11, Page 8...
Sunday, I woke up and hung out in bed, on my phone and reading for a bit. Then I got up, read the paper, got on the computer, showered, dressed (in khakis and a button down) and then headed out to moms.
We went to Ollie's in Chambersburg, she bought a few things, I got two books. After this, we went to Fuddruckers for lunch. Yummy! Then went visited my uncle in the Chambersburg Hospital for a short while. He's fine, just needs some tests done, and so we went to say hi.
After this, we went to Marion PA for a funeral (hence the clothes I was wearing). My mother's mother's sister-in-law (my mom's aunt) had died. This was her funeral. Mom was also close to one of the aunt's daughters, Bonnie, and growing up, we spent a lot of time, probably once a month or so, hanging out with Bonnie's family. So because of this, I felt closer to this aunt than some of the other relatives.
It was a good service. Lots of stories, sharing of tales, and laughs. Also, honestly, a few tears, but all in all, I like Olie (that was the aunt's name) would have wanted her funeral to be just like this.
After this, I came home and spent the rest of the day watching football, including, watching Dallas lose in overtime (again) around midnight. boo. But then I went to bed, read just a very short bit, and then turned out the light and went to sleep. And no home stress.
