Come join out party, not just anyone will do (Part 22)...

Last night, before the final tallies from the Iowa Caucuses (Caucusi?) were even completed, some candidates saw the proverbial writing on the proverbial wall. Martin O'Malley and Mike Huckabee called it quits. No surprise in either case. I don't think O'Malley ever got more than 5% in any poll. And Huckabee was hoping to party like it was 2008, when the Iowan evangelicals flocked to him and made him a surprise winner. Alas, twas not to be. And Rick Santorum was vying for the same pool of voters, which he too, did not get. I can't imagine he's long for the campaign either. I gotta ask though, is Jim Gilmore still in the game? Did he get even ONE vote anywhere in Iowa? (actually, I just checked on HuffPost and they have the tally of the votes, and out of 180,000 Republican votes cast, former Governor Gilmore got a grand total of 12, yes, that's twelve, votes.)
