Superhero Anydays
Yesterday was Ramona Fradon's 96th birthday. Ramona was a comic book artist at a time when it was an all boys club. I know her from her work in the 70s, primarily on the Super Friends comic book. Love that one as a pre-teen.
But today we have the splash page from one of the Freedom Fighter's comic books circa 1976. It shows all the team members at the top and then shows leader Uncle Sam in an iconic pose.
