Perez Appreciation Post
This is the cover of Justice League Of America #194 from 1981, as drawn by the Maestro George Perez. The story revolves around, I think, Amos Fortune being able to animate Tarot Cards and have them attack the JLA and the heroes then take over the personalities the cards embody: silliness from The Fool, violent anger from The Chariot, apathetic ennui from The Hermit, etc.
Anyway, this shows the JLA: The Flash, Black Canary, Superman, Elongated Man, Green Lantern, and Zatanna kneeling down, surrounded by the Tarot Cards: The Hermit, The Hierophant, The Chariot, The Magician, The Fool.
Again, the detail is typically Perez. Just fabulous work.
