Badass Birthday
On this date, in 1898 in Brooklyn NY, George Gershwin was born.
George Gershwin was a pianist and composer who's notable works include Rhapsody In Blue, An American In Paris, and Swanee. He collaborated with his brother Ira and others on Broadway shows, including the famous Porgy And Bess.
He passed, sadly, in 1937 from a brain tumor at the age of only 38.
Still a badass though.
