Perez Appreciation Post
Today we have the cover of Avengers #191 from 1979, as drawn my the Maestro George Perez.
Once again, look at the detail: The debris all over, the buildings in back, it's all so typically Perez, and iconic too.
But the cover itself shows the Grey Gargoyle in the center attacking the team. He's already touched Iron Man and non-Avenger who just happened to be there Daredevil and "turned them to stone" as is his power. And he's turned himself to stone, as he can do also. But he can still move, the others, once touched are frozen as if they were stone
Anyway, around him, counterclockwise from bottom, are: The Falcon, Beast, Captain America, Ms. Marvel, Wasp, Vision and Scarlet Witch.
