Badass Birthday
On this date, in 1952, Christopher Reeve was born.
Despite a career that spanned over 30 years, Christopher is a badass for that which he is best known for: Superman. We DID believe a man could fly. He did a spectacular job in the first and second Superman movies of the last 70s (we do NOT discuss the third or fourth movies). He truly was the embodiment of the Man of Steel, and we did not see his like in a movie (or TV Superman) until last years latest Superman movie.
Sadly, he broke his neck in the fall from the house, was a quadriplegic and spent his remaining years in a wheelchair unable to movie anything below his neck. He passed away in 2004 at the too young age of 52.
But Christopher Reeve shall always be Superman. And a badass.
