If I were a hero, I'd be Martin Luther (Part 4613)....

 Superhero Anydays

Today, we have the cover of the Justice League of American #135 from October 1976.  I was 8, almost 9 years old, but I remember seeing this on the spinner rack.  From the 'knowledge' of the Super Friends, I knew who Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman were.  But Robin was not a member of the JLA and that was a different mask.  And how could there be two Flashes and two Green Lanterns?  And Who were all these other headhots?  I HAD to get the issue!  And so I did.

This was one of the annual teamups between the JLA of Earth-1 and the JSA of Earth-2, and it also involved some heroes from Earth-S, where Captain Marvel, Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel JR lived.  But none of them were here, it was a bunch of other heroes from that Earth.

I was intrigued!

From the JLA: Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Hawkman, Hawkwoman

From the JSA: Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Johnny Thunder, Robin, and Woder Woman

From Earth-2: Bulletman, Bulletgirl, Ibis the Invincible, Mr. Scarlet, his sidekick Pinky and Spy Smasher.

In the pic we have clockwise from top: Wonder Woman, Hawkman, Bulletman, Mr. Scarlet, Superman, Green Arrow, Batman, The Flash, Bulletgirl and Green Lantern all attack King Kull, a villain from Earth-S.

And today we also have a Robin cosplayer in an oddly colored but yet still snugly fitting and attractive costume.
