Badass Birthday
On this date, in 1941 in Newark New Jersey, Paul Simon was born.
Paul Simon has had both a solo career and as part of a duo: Simon & Garfinkel. He has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice (for solo career and as part of the duo). He was nominated for an Oscar, he's been nominated for 3 Emmys winning one, and nominated for 28 Grammys winning 12.
How about a list of his songs? First as part of Simon & Garfinkel:
The Sound Of Silence
Homeward Bound
I Am A Rock
A Hazy Shade Of Winter
Scarborough Fair/Canticle
Mrs. Robinson
Bridge Over Trouble Water
Cecilia
Wake Up Little Susie
And as a solo artist:
Loves Me Like A rock
50 Ways To Leave Your Lover
Still Crazy After All These Years
Slip Slidin' Away
Wonderful World
Late In The Evening
You Can Call Me Al
Certainly having all those songs in your repertoire as a bookcase full of awards, clearly makes one a badass!
