Defensor
Gabriel Carlos Dantés Sepúlveda, a construction worker from Buenos Aires, was working underground when he discovered a suit of armor and shield made of vibranium. He put it on and became the hero Defensor. The armor bestows no super powers, but it does give him heightened strength and durability, and the shield provides energy absorption and can be thrown as a weapon.
The character was created for the Contest of Champions mini-series and he had very few, if any, appearances afterwards, until he was killed by the villain Zeitgeist.
