She was also the first woman leader of any superhero team, leading the Legion back when JFK was in office! I suppose since the stories took place 1000 years in the future, the writers felt safe making a 'girl' team leader.

Today is, thank GOD, Paul Ryan's last day as Speaker Of The House Of Representatives.
And I agree, he was the worst. He never even wanted the job, he was all the Republicans could agree on after Boehner announced his retirement. And it shows he didn't want it. Just see above.
What sort of legislation did he get through Congress into law, when HIS party controlled BOTH houses of Congress AND the White House??? An obscene tax cut for billionaires. Other than that.....zip.
Good bye, Paul Ryan. You'll be known through history, if you're remembered as anything other than a footnote, as a failed candidate for Vice President of the USA AND failed Speaker of The House. Or perhaps it can be easily summed up as, you're a failure.

So as I post every year, my friend VUBOQ has this theory that one's virginity resets each new year at 12:01 am on January 1st. And today, my 2019 virginity was taken.
I've been talking to this guy online since before Thanksgiving. Finally today, he stopped by for a visit. And now, my 2019 virginity is no more!
Here are the yearly results:
As you can see, 2005 was a very bad year.....
The overall average length of my new year's virginity is 12.95 days (13.48 in 2018). Average of the last ten years was 5.9 days (6.6 days in 2018).

In 2018, via theaters, DVDs, Blu-Rays, cable TV and the Roku, I watched movies, documentaries and mini-series, a total of 137 of them. And here are my yearly totals:

2017: 176
2016: 110
2015: 88
2014: 37
2013: 53
2012: 53
2011: 78
2010: 52
2009: 55

It's a drop from last year, but I truly think I'm spending more time (too much time) on my phone, with games, and social media and shit like that.
But of those 137 movies, only 7 times did I go to an actual theater.

Apr 26: Avengers: Infinity War with my coworker and his son and his friends
May 6: Avengers: Infinity War with the ParisPekings (all of them)
May 20: Avengers: Infinity War with a friend, his sister and niece
Jun 30: Incredibles 2 with ALCMDPP
Jul 8: Ant-Man And Wasp with ALCMDPP
Dec 26: Mary Poppins Returns with mom
And as you can see, three of them were the same movie, and all but one was super-hero related. That's pretty much the only time I go to the movie theater anymore: to see superheroes of scifi.

Book wise, this year I read only 37 books. Only a two book drop over last year. Here are my yearly totals:

2013: 59 books for $557.39, average of $9.45 per book
So I bought a LOT more books, but those were mostly just graphic novels I got at Ollies and other sales for obscenely cheap prices. In actually, I bought just over half the number of books I actually got last year. And due to the Ollie's cheap graphic novels, but yearly average cost per book is the lowest since I've been keeping track of this.

And for one week, from Oct 1 to Oct 6, I had sex every day, with a different guy each time.
