My bathroom has one window.  It looks out on a balcony with a roof over it.  In the seven years I've lived here, I can only think of one, maybe two times, that rain came in that window.  So I usually put the window up in April sometime and it stays up until the weather gets so cold that I have to put it down.

That time this year came today.

I went into the bathroom about 8:30 am.  The wind was blowing in there a little bit and it was frankly cold.  So I put the window down.  And it'll remain that way for another six months or so.

But man, I DO love this time of year. Autumn is my favorite season.  And only one of the reasons is that cooler weather.
