Badass Birthday
On this date 105 years ago in 1921, in Ithaca New York, Alex Haley was born.
Alex Haley had a 33 year writing career, He wrote a few novels, a tv series, and even a movie script. But what makes him a badass is one particular novel he wrote: Roots. Which was made into a tv miniseries in the 70s which reached a record breaking audience. He also won a Pulitzer Prize for the novel.
Badass author for sure.
He passed in 1992 at the age of 70.
