It's a nice day for a white wedding...

A few Saturdays ago, I went to my cousin Faith's wedding. Faith is 29, and I'm amazed that she's actually married...I remember giving her a bath as an infant. Crazy, just crazy.

Anyway, the church was the local one my family attends and then they had the reception at Ski Liberty a local ski resort. Faith's gown was simply gorgeous. The reception was a lot of fun. The food, incredibly delicious. Just a wonderful time was had by all. And now, the photos:

I can sometimes clean up okay.

But I still take accidental photos with my camera. In the meantime, enjoy the shot of my nifty shoes.

Totally unrelated to the wedding itself, but taken on the same day, this is Angel, with her Dallas Cowboys football.

Jason, the groom, on the left. My cousin/the bride's bother Tim third from right, other guys, I got no idea. But they're all the groomsmen.

My cousin Tyreek is the ringbearer. And when he walked up the aisle with the flower girl, he was not at all happy about the situation.

My cousin Tyreek, my cousin Tim, and so other rather hot groomsman.

Faith and her father coming down the aisle. Sorry for the blurriness.

Faith and Jason.

Tyreek bored.

Faith and Jason, presented as man and wife.

Tyreek escorting the flower girl, still none to happy about the whole situation. He livened up dramatically at the reception. And in the back right is Tim's daughter/Faith's niece/my cousin/junior bridesmaid Lexi.

Tim and his fiance Tiffany. They'll be married in May of next year.

The 14 person stretch limo that motored the party all around.

Inside of the chateau where we had the reception.

Mom used the handle end of the butter knife to try to scoop the butter out, and then cracked herself up laughing at her own stupidity. I laughed quite a bit too while taking the photo. I'm not at all sure mom's aunt Ollie even knew what was going on.

The meal's all came served with a purple orchid on the plate...and since it was purple, it deserved a photo.

The waitress said the orchids were edible, but she didn't think they had any flavor to them. I gave it a shot. And yes it was edible and yes it had no taste...like munching on a single leaf of lettuce. But I was the only one at our table to eat it.

The groom's sister climbed this ladder that led to a snow making machine. I'm not at all sure why. Nor am I sure exactly how much she may have had to drink by then.

Faith, in the absolutely stunning wedding dress.

Six of us seven cousins made it to the wedding, only Brian didn't. And it's rare we actually get all of us together in one place anymore. Or even six of us in one place. So I suggested a photo. What a group, eh?

What a gorgeous couple. The kids are hilarious. Tyreek with his hands in his pockets is a classic. To be brought back and taunted with it at his own wedding in 20 years. LOL

Looks like a fun time and I salute you for eating the flower. That just screams "wrong" to me. :-)

i know it's been forever since i commented but just wanted to say what a lovely day it looks like. i think i've been to a wedding at that same place. (i'm not terribly far away you know). the bride's gown was stunning. the picture of all you cousin's together is great, gotta seize those opportunities. and really, the flower girl didn't look any happier than the ring bearer did, lol.
