I think this perfectly sums up America this past New Years Eve!
It's the New Year's Eve toast at midnight in the movie The Poseidon Adventure!
See this reminds me of this past New Years because, in the movie, they have this toast, everyone celebrates and then the tidal wave hit, overturning the boat. And everyone is plunged into a deadly hell where everything is upside down, the vast majority of the survivors are stupid lemmings and don't do anything but die while the smartest and ablest have to fight to survive the horrors!
If that's not an analogy for American right now, I dont know what is. Except instead of the bad shit happening right after the toast like on the ship, here the 'tidal wave' hits on January 20th.....
...and then the shit hits the fan and everything goes to hell.....
