Lets go up stairs and read my tarot cards...

What Tarot card am I?

You are The Emperor

Stability, power, protection, realization; a great person.

The Emperor is the great authority figure of the Tarot, so it represents
fathers, father-figures and employers. There is a lot of aggression and violence
too.

The Emperor naturally follows the Empress. Like an infant, he is filled with enthuiasm, energy, aggression. He is direct, guileless and all too often irresistible. Unfortunately, like a baby he can also be a tyrant. Impatient, demanding, controlling. In the best of circumstances, he signifies the leader that everyone wants to follow, sitting on a throne that indicates the solid foundation of an Empire he created, loves and rules with intelligence and enthusiasm. But that throne can also be a trap, a responsibility that has the Emperor feeling restless, bored and discontent.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

Hmmm....well, that seems like me, good, bad and ugly: a great person; filled with enthusiasm, and aggression; direct; all too often irresistable *blush*; a tryant; impatient, demanding, controlling...yep, I think that pretty much fits...more or less.

I feel the need to be naked with you (Part 32)...

Yes, kiddies, it's time once more for...

This week, was a very busy day for Uncle Polt. Despite being busy, it was a wondrous fabulous day, with Uncle Polt very ecstatic at day's end.

This is a photo of Uncle Polt doing his patriotic and civil duty. It's also a photo of Uncle Polt helping send the homophobic, misogynist, arrogant Rick Santorum down in flaming, screaming defeat and out of the Senate. I'm sure the Pat Robertsons and Jerry Falwells of the nation will be sorry to see him go, but no one else will. And to know that I helped do that, fills me with a pride I don't think I've encountered before.

Happy days are here again....

At 830pm this evening, the Associated Press, and then at about 850pm NBC News both declared Jim Webb, the Democrat, the winning of Virginia's Senate race. A spokesman for Senator George Allen said the senator would be "dis-inclined" to ask for a recount if the canvassing going on now showed he wouldn't be able to win. I'm not totally completely sure what that means, but the spokesman added the Senator will have a statement possibly within 24 hours time. That means, when he concedes, the Dems will have Capitol Hill for the first time since 1994.

Happy days are here again, the skies above are clear again...

With both houses under Dem control, it will increase the chances that Nancy Pelosi's First 100 Plan will be made law. This includes: 1) increasing the minimum wage, 2) making college tuition more affordable (maybe by making it tax deductable), 3) Insitituting the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission, 4) Lobbyist and ethics reform in Congress, that the Republican did away with, 5) Allowing the gov't to negotiate with drug companies for lower prices on meds, something, again, the Republicans expressly in law forbade, and increasing funding for stem cell research and 6) recinding the obscene Republican tax cuts for the wealthy and instead giving some Middle Class tax releif (one being the tuition mentioned above).

I can't wait for January!

Preordained checklist of this awkward love...

Okay, so. Let's check and make sure we got...

  • Here in Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum had his ASS handed to him...
  • and Governor Rendell coasts to an easy re-election.
  • Maryland ousts Republican governor Ehrlich, righting the mistake they made 4 years ago.
  • The House in Democratic hands for the first time in 12 years.
  • Nancy Pelosi set to become Speaker, and the first woman speaker ever.
  • The Democrats just one seat away from retaking the Senate...
  • And the Democrat ahead in the final, pre-recount totals by 6000-ish votes.
  • Rumsfeld resigns
  • Much wringing of hands, gnashing of teeth, and whining on talk radio
  • Total abortion ban defeated by South Dakota voters
  • Gay Marriage ban defeated by Arizona voters
Yep...despite the damp, cold and rain it is a wonderful, GLORIOUS day in America!

Thank God.

Too much information for my mind (Part 14)...

Yes, kids, Uncle Polt is on a break of the election, and MAN are we busy! We're having voter turnout like it was a Presidential election year, not a mid term election. Which is a good thin, I think. At any rate, I'm still keeping your guys, and the Palace in mind. So I give you our regular Tuesday offering, gotten here:

Today is Election Day in the USA

1. Would you vote to legalize marijuana? If not marijuana, what drug would you like to see legalized and why? Marijuana should be legalized. It's no more dangerous to your health than tobacco cigarettes, and it's effects are no worse than alcohol. Other drugs....I don't think so, but I'm not sure about all of them.
2. Would you vote to legalize prostitution? Aboslutely. If I take a girl out to eat, then to a movie and then bring her home and have sex with her, and then never talk to her again, I've spent about $50 bucks and that's legal. If I take a girl to my house, have sex with her and give her $50 bucks, that's illegal. Its also hypocritical. Whatever two conscenting adults do together in private, including the exchanging of money, is in no way the governmnet's business.
3. Ever fantasize about a teacher in grade school/high school/college? If not a teacher, was there someone else? Classmate? Secretary? Janitor? Ever act on your fantasy? Teachers, nope never about them. Classmates, pretty much fantacized about them all.
4. Do you feel everyone has a soulmate? No, but I feel everyone WANTS to feel everyone has a soulmate.
5. Do you have a foot obsession? Ever given or received a footjob? No foot obsession. I did have a guy suck my toes once. It took me by such surprise, i was in too much shock to figure out if I enjoyed it. now a good footrub....oh Lord THAT is relaxing!
Bonus (as in optional): Do you have a favorite sex toy? Yes i do. It's called my penis.

I'll give you television, I'll give you eyes of blue...

SO this past week and weekend with me not feeling terribly well, i watched a lot of TV. What else was there to do? I saw on Sunday, the first Christmas commericals of the year. I saw three total. The first one was from Overstock.com. I think, since Overstock was the first Christmas ad I saw, I shall not purchase anything from them this year. Christmas ads are fine...after Thanksgiving! Not while you're still eating leftover Halloween candy! That's just wrong.

Also, this weekend, I was flipping around the channels and stumbled into some movies. Normally, I don't watch a movie if I come onto it after it starts. I mean, I want to watch the whole movie, not parts of it. but these three movies are just so cool, I watched them all the way ot the end, even though I didn't catch thier beginnings.

They were The Fifth Element

Shaun Of The Dead

And The Birds.

These films are so good, I can come into them at any time and enjoy them all the way through. I don't really enjoy Bruce Willis films, but the Fifth Element isn't really an action film, it's more a sci-fi/comedy. And it's great.

Shaun of The Dead is one of the funniest movies i have EVER seen! And that's despite all the blood and gore, which is usually a huge turnoff to me in films.

And the Birds...I know it matches nothing of the gore fests they call horror movies nowadays. But Hitchcock was a master of horror. When Tippi Hedren turns around and sees all those birds on the playground equipment...well I gasp along with her, even though i've seen the movie countless times.

These three films suceeded in taking my mind off the way I felt, and really isn't that whay good entertinament is supposed to do?

"I am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest." -- Neil Patrick Harris to People magazine

Ahhh, Doogie Howser's a fag!!!! I mean, I don't know that I'm actully surprised, not that I thought he was gay or anything, but now that I think about it, it's not really surprising. I'm just glad it's him, an attractive, well to do, normal guy rather than having someone like, say, Tom Arnold come out. Or Jack Black. Ew. Even if they would turn out to be gay, I don't want them to be.

SO as you all know, I'm sure, tomorrow is election day. Uncle Polt is Judge Of Elections for his precinct, so I'll be leaving for the polls about 630am and won't get back from the courthouse until probably sometime after 1000pm. A full day, yes. Because of this, if I post at all tomorrow, it'll be a short one that I do over my lunch break, or if we're not busy, perhaps a break in the afternoon. Nonetheless, should i not post at all tomorrow, now you'll know why.

And I trust each and everyone of you will be going out to vote. As you go to vote, I ask you to consider just two things.

1)

2)

Thank you. And as they said in Florida in 2000, and Ohio in 2004, vote early and vote often!

I miss those nice massages....

Ted Haggard, a leader in a group of 30 million evangelicals and a vocal opponent of gay marriage as well as a regular visitor and consultant to the White House, admits he bought meth from a confirmed male prostitute.

This prostitute (who looks pretty damn good for 49 years of age, may I say), alleges that he and Haggard used meth together and Haggard paid him for sex about once a month over a three year period. Haggard denies this.

He admits going to the prostitute for "a massage" and having the prostitute procure for him some meth. Haggard admits to paying for the meth, but throwing it away. "I was tempted" he says, "and i bought it, but I didn't use it."

I suppose, I should now expect this to be all over Limbaugh's show and plastered all over Faux News just as Clinton's "I tired marijuana but didn't inhale" was. I mean, they'll rake Haggard over the coals and call him everything but a white man, right? Just like they did Clinton.

Pffft, right, who believes that. Haggard is one of them, they'll give him a pass. In fact, if they do anything, it'll be to drag the male prosititue through the mud. Just like they tried to do with the pages Foley was hitting on. And all this despite Haggard's own admission of criminal activity. Payign for a prostitute in Colorado is illegal. Even more so, Conspiracy to Purchase Meth is as well. Homosexuality, Adultery, Lying, Drug use....and not a word from the White House. Course, I guess all those photos of Haggard and Bushie together are kinda damning, eh? Best they not mention it at all.

It's none of my business what a man does in his private life, except that Haggard MADE it my business by advocating that the USA deny me the same right he has. Damn hypocrite. He and Foley both. Glass houses and all.

Haggard, Foley....makes one wonder which party is REALLY the home of the homosexuals.
