Today in gay history (Part 12)...

Gay Guys From History

John Maynard Keynes

Mr. Keynes lived from 1883 to 1946.  He revolutionized economic thought with his theories.  He advocated that government needs to intervene is bad economic times, like depressions and recessions.  He said government should help the people weather the booms and busts of capitalism.  His policies were in vogue during the 50's and 60's economic booms.  Starting the 80's, with the 'government is the problem, not the solution' way of thought, his theories fell out of favor.  And, in my opinion, we're still paying the price now economically for not following them.

Despite marrying in 1921, during his youth and early adult years, his relationships were exclusively homosexual.
