Ian McKellen
Mr. McKellen was born in 1939. He is the recipient of multiple Lawrence Olivier awards, a Tony Award, a Golden Globe award, two Academy Award nominations and five Emmy award nominations. He was knighted by the Queen in 1991. He his career has spanned everything from Shakespeare to playing a Nazi in Apt Pupil, to The Da Vinci Code. He is perhaps best known for his roles as Gandalf in the Lord Of The Rings saga and as Magneto in the X-Men movies.
