Badass Birthday
On this date in 1939 near Cardiff and Bristol in England, was born John Cleese.
John Cleese was of course a founding member of the iconic and influential Monty Python's Flying Circus. He also created, wrote and starred in the hilarious Fawlty Towers. Beyond these, he's also and actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer. He's won 3 BAFTA awards and been nominated for an Oscar, a Golden Globe and several Emmys and Grammy. He's appeared in movies such as A Fish Called Wanda, Shrek, and both the James Bond (as R, the successor to Q) franchise and the Harry Potter franchise (as Nearly Headless Nick).
But really, had he only done Monty Python and then retired and did nothing else, he would be a badass for that alone!
