Badass Birthday
On this date, in 1915 in New York City, Bob Kane was born.
Who is Bob Kane you ask? Well you may not know him, but you know his work!
Back in 1937, in Detective Comics #27, along with writer Bill Finger, Bob Kane was the artist who co-created Batman. Together, they also co-created the Joker in Batman #1, and Robin in Detective Comics #38, among many other characters in Batman mythos.
Bob Kane left the Batman comics books to focus on the Batman newspaper comic strip. He retired from comic book art in 1966. He passed in 1998 at the age of 83.
But cocreating Batman? How could he be anything BUT a badass?
