Knew he musta been about seventeen, the beat was going strong.....

Back in 1996, 17 years ago today, I started my career working in my current job.

Hmmm, I can't believe it's been that long, and yet, at the same time, it doesn't seem like it could possibly have been that long. That leaves me 13 years until I'm eligible for retirement...BUT, I've got 26 years left on my mortgage, so I kinda doubt I'll be leaving that early.

But anyway....17 years....geez. If my career were my child, he would be getting to start his senior year in high school. Crazy.
