Green Lantern V
DC Comics' Green Lantern V first appeared in Green Lantern, Vol 3 #48, in Jan 1994. Kyle Rayner was a graphic artist in California. At the same time, Green Lantern II, Hal Jordan, went insane and killed many other Green Lanterns and several of the Guardians. One of the Guardians took a power ring and upon finding Kyle, gave him the ring and made him a Green Lantern.
After the destruction of the Green Lantern Corps, Kyle was the sole Green Lantern in the universe for several years. He later helped rebuild the Corps. But during that time, he also worked with the Justice League Of America and the Teen Titans.
