That the results are splendorous, wonderful...

And the results are in...

With 77% of the precincts in PA reporting, Sestak leads Spector 53% for 47%. The Associated Press has called it for Sestak, and Spector has conceded. YAY! The guy I wanted for governor, Hoeffel, came in fourth in a race of four...dead last. Oh well, there really wasn't any difference on the major issues between the four of them, except on gay rights. So I'm okay with Onoranio, or whatever his name is, the guy leading, I mean.

Also, there was a special election in PA to replace John Murtha, who died earlier this year. The Democrats winning there, but a comforable margin. That's good news as well.

Elsewhere outside of my home state, Blanche Lincoln in Arkansas will probably have to win a runoff, and that's a good thing, cause as a Democrat who wavered on and didn't support health care reform, she needs to be returned to civilian life so a Democrat that will support Democratis principles and ideals can be there.

And in even better news, in Kentucky, the tea partiers got their candidate to win the Republican primary over the candidate the Repubican national leadership wanted. And that IS a great thing, cause the the tea party candidates are wingnuts just like the tea partiers themselves. And the more on the fringe the Republicans are, the better the chances are the Democratic candidate will win. The more the Republicans want to tear themselves apart, the better it is for the country as a whole as well.
