Chapter 10, Page 31...
As it was Saturday, a regular work day for me, and Halloween both, I figured it would be a good time to wear a costume to work. I had prepared everything the night before before going to bed. And below is what I chose:
My costume was a Professional Classification Counselor. See, khakis, a button up shirt, a tie AND a jacket. Wow, who knew?
I got basically two responses to this. 1) out and out laughter, or 2) disbelief. I had coworkers and clients BOTH ask me if I a) had a job interview, b) had a funeral to go to, c) had a wedding to go to, or d) had a hot date after work. None of which were true. And even after telling them several times it was just a Halloween costume, some of them still didn't believe me. And that was funny too.
Anyway, work itself, luckily, wasn't too much of a struggle. I got the things done that needed to be done, although I did actually put some other things off.
After work, I came home and just hung out here, not doing a whole lot. I ran a load of towels through the laundry. I was on the computer, I watched some things on Netflix, then watched the new Doctor Who when it came on. The writing still makes me cringe, and the damn sonic sunglasses are still there, but I still watch it, hoping, somewhat fruitlessly, that it will improve.
After the show, I turned off the TV, went to bed, read some and then went to sleep.
