Chapter 7, Page 25...
I got up for work actually early on Saturday, and got there a bit early as well. Work was light with new clients, but I had other paperwork to catch up on and other things to help out with, and so I did other stuff too.
Friday night, for supper I had had KFC. For lunch at work, we had BBQ chicken, mac and cheese and green beans. On the way home from work, I was thinking of what I wanted for supper, but when I got home, I found a box meal waiting for me. I had forgotten mom was working with one of her organizations, they were selling meals for a fundraiser, and she had bought me one. And what was it? Half a BBQ chicken. No kidding. Also a baked potato, mac salad, baked beans and a bun. Oh and two homemade chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Yummy...even though I'm kinda sick of chicken now.
Afterwards I was online for a bit and read for a bit, you know the usual. But then, I decided to take a walk. First one I had since June 28th, nearly a month! Well, it HAS been hot and humid, and when it hasn't been, I've been lazy. But I took the walk anyway. And while it was warm, it wasn't hot or humid, and there was a nice breeze blowing.
When I got back I watched some TV and then went up to bed to read, and then to sleep.

Someone book me a room (Part 206)...
Chapter 7, Page 24...
So did I sleep last night? Hell yeah. The Drixoral kicked in (and being extremely relaxed and tired after bedtimesexxyfun with Theo), and I was out almost like a light. Of course I did NOT want to get up this morning, and struggled to do so. I got to work about 10 minutes late or so.
The paperwork stuff I had been putting off all week, I managed to get completed today. As well as other things that needed done. But all day I was yawning and still tired. After work, I came home, got online for a bit, sat down to watch TV and promptly took a half hour or so nap.
When I woke up from that, I felt a bit refreshed and remmebered there were things I wanted to do. So I went to Hallmark and Wal-Mart, and then stopped by KFC for some supper. I ate it here at home, and ended up having to turn down a hookup with a semi-regular fuckbuddy just cause I didn't really feel like it. And my neck and shoulders are a bit achey too....Theo really wore me out.
Mom called to tell me the people came back to look at her house once again. This time they brought their little daughter and the woman's mother (both of whom will be living there) as well as the guy's parents too. All we're waiting on it the appraiser to say the house is worth what they want to borrow, and if that happens, then they can sign the papers making it official the end of August. And it seems like they REALLY want the house. They were showing the little girl which bedroom was going to be hers (her very own bedroom, she now sleeps in the same room as the parents). The grandmother was admiring mom's dishwasher and stove. The mother said she doesn't want to change anything, she likes the colors and carpets and such. Although she would get rid of the carpet in the bathroom, just becuase the little girl splashes a lot.
I've been having issues on and off with mom selling the house. I KNOW she needs to do it, and that's not the problem, I'm fully behind her doing it. But that house....I've always known it as home. I grew up there. I lived there for the first 29 years of my life. And it's bothered me somewhat, to think it won't be my 'home' anymore.
But hearing this that mom told me, eased my worries a bit. Because now I'm thinking, yeah, it wont be my home or mom's home any more. But it will be the home of this young family. That little girl can grow up there having as many great memories as I did. The whole family can, as a matter of fact. It's almost like we're passing on a happy home to another family so they too can have a happy home. I don't if any of that makes any sense, but it's helped me deal with the situation.
Anyway, after watching some TV and being online, I went to bed, read a very little bit and then to sleep.

Someone book me a room (Part 205)...
Chapter 7, Page 23...
So I turned out the light and settled down to go to sleep....only all I did was lay there. And toss and turn. And turn and toss. The last time I looked at the clock it was like 230 something. And then after some fitful sleep, I was awake again before 5am. And could not go back to sleep, not even a fitful kind. And I knew there was absolutely no way I was gonna be able to handle work, so I called in and took the day off. And laid back down and tried to get back to sleep.
I wasn't watching the clock, but I did nod off for a few short, unrestful times, before getting awake again. I just could NOT sleep. *SIGH*
Sometime around 9am, I just said screw it, and got up. I threw on some clothes, came downstairs and got the paper and brought the recycling bin back, and then went to Rutters to get something to eat. After eating it and reading the paper and starting a load of towels being laundered, I put the final LOTR movie: The Return Of The King, the extended version (thanks once more ALCMDPP) in and watched it. And that pretty much took up all my late morning/afternoon time, other than the load of towels I laundered.
I spent time reading, but then got into the shower. Earlier in the day Theo had messaged me. It has been like 9 months since we've been together, but this evening, we were both free. So I showered (as I said) and headed over to his place. And after two hours of bedtimesexxyfun, I was on my way home again, feeling relaxed and contented and looking forward to the next time we get together (which hopefully will NOT take another 9 months). I came home finished off this entry before going to bed to read and to sleep....and even as i type this, I can still smell his scent on my skin. Mmmmm.....

Chapter 7, Page 22...
So Wednesday, I got up for and to work without problems. I got things done in the morning I needed to.
Now, as an aside here, I have, in my office, the 'candy mug'. Which is, a mug I keep filled with candy. Coworkers (but not clients) and welcome to help themselves to a piece of candy anytime they want some. And quite a few of them will throw some coins or dollar bills in to the mug in return to help defray the cost to me of buying the candy.
I go to Sam's Club to get the candy, in the big 'industrial' bags, two or three bags at a time. These bags generally last three weeks or so. And I can assure you this is NOT a money making effort on my part. It does in fact, end of costing me money to do so. But I've been doing almost since my first day there 19 years ago, and I know my coworkers enjoy it. And it gives me people to talk to throughout the day and so on, so I do it.
On Saturday, I filled the mug up with the last of the candy. My goal was to get to Sam's over the weekend, but I did not. And Tuesday, some people came in for candy and cleared the mug out. Therefore I had no candy.
On Wednesday, it seemed EVERYONE was coming in for candy. Even people that don't usually come by for candy, were coming by, and finding an empty mug. So after lunch, I decided to do something about it.
I went to Sam's Club. It's close by my work, and I drove there, got the four bags of candy, paid for them, and drove back, all in like 20 minutes or so (certainly less than a half hour). And then my coworkers had candy!
Plus, I needed to just get away from work for a short while, and this filled that need. And it was a beaufitul day outside, so I enjoyed going out in it.
Late in the afternoon, mom called to see what I was doing to for supper, and when I told her nothing, she asked if I wanted some wings from Rutters. I have been raving about them to her (just like I probably have on here) and told we'll have to try them sometime. And today was the day she wanted to try them.
So I got home from work and settled in, and then shortly thereafter, she showed up, wings in hand. She had actually walked from her house, to Rutters, and then to my house (something she wont be able to do from the cottage!). And we enjoyed them here. And she agreed they were good, although I don't think she was going nuts for them like I do. And then we talked for a bit.
After she left, I putzed around online, and then settled in to watch the remainder of the Two Towers, which I did get all the way through. After this I went to bed, read some, and attempted to sleep (more on that tomorrow)

So Tuesday I got to work with little issue. It was a strange day. Nothing bad happened, but nothing good either. I got done what needed to be done, but it was just kinda blah.
Derick had called me Monday about playing, but I was unable to, so we planned for Tuesday after work. And so after work, to his place I went, and we played. The bedstimesexxyfun even included a massage his time, and was amazing, as always.
Afterwards, on the way home, I ran by Taco Bell and got some tacos for supper. it's terrible for me, I know, but damn, I DO love their tacos. They're evilly delicious. Following that, I started watching the extended version of Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers (thanks again ALCMDPP). I did not finish it, but did get over halfway through it. While watching it, I was online for a bit. And then I updated my checkbook and paid some bills and got them, and some cards, ready for mailing.
And then, when I was sufficiently tired, I went to bed, read, and then to sleep.
