The bottom fell out, it was a piece a'crap....piece of crap....

Over at More Like A Justice League, the guy in charge was asked "Why don't you like the Wonder Woman and Superman couple?"  He answers it thusly:

It boils down to:

1. Superman should be with Lois Lane
2. Wonder Woman should NOT be downgraded to being Superman’s girlfriend
3. They don’t work beyond a very superficial interpretation of the characters (ie. strong and wear similar colors)
4. It’s being used as an obnoxious marketing tool by DC
5. It’s stupid and lame.

And I couldn't have answered it better myself.  I fully agree with all 5 of his reasons.  And I'd add on my own that Numbers 4 and 5 are THE definition of what DC has been doing since the whole launch of the New52 crap they started a few years ago.  

It truly is a shame how something with almost 75 years of history has been totally wiped clean and turned into something.....demeaning to that history.  Something shallow, weak, superficial, and frankly, insulting to anyone who read and loved DC Comics prior to 2010.

And all of this is why I will not even touch a single issue of the Superman/Wonder Woman title.  Ever.  Not even by accident.
