Wow...that flu, or whatever it was, kicked my ass!  All day yesterday, my joints, the ankles, knees, lower back, neck were SO achey.  And I had such nausea.  I didn't each much as all, and I lived on Advil and Pepto every four hours.

When I went up to bed, I couldn't really get comfortable.  I was all achey and I was afraid to actually lay down comfortably because I was afraid that might lead to some acid reflux/bile/vomit coming up my throat.  So I put several pillows under my shoulder blades to keep that part elevated.

I slept fitfully: maybe an hour, then I woke up, moved, slept for a half hour, woke up, moved, etc, etc, etc.  But every time I woke up, the aches were less and less.  And so was the nausea.  I got out of bed about 5 to use the bathroom, and I wasn't achey at all, but still felt a bit  nauseous.

I finally got up about of bed about 9-ish, I think.  I came downstairs, not feeling good at all on my stomach.  So I had to pieces of dry toast, some tea and a big glass of water.  And soon after eating them all, my stomach started feeling much better.

The rest of the day, I spent pretty much on the sofa.  I watched tv, I was on the computer a bit.  I read my current book.  I napped once.  The only time I actually left the house was to get the paper off the front porch in the morning, and then for mom to drive me to the mechanic's to get my car (where we had dropped it off the day before for some routine maintenance).  Other than that, I just stayed on the couch, recovering.  I felt better than the day before, but still not well.  I needed to rest and recover.  And that's what i did.  And what I'm doing.
