Someone book me a room (Part 189)...

Chapter 7, Page 7....

Tuesday morning, I got to work a bit later, thanks to road construction that I just read in the paper could take a few MONTHS!  DAMN!  Gonna be a lot of backroad travels in the coming weeks for me.

I got to work, and it wasn't that bad to start with.  However, as the day went on, it got worse.  At first I attributed it to the anxiety that had returned.  *SIGH* After some reflection, I think the anxiety may have returned because of mom getting a buyer and a contract on her house.  I mean, by the end of August, if all goes as planned, mom will sign the paperwork giving the house to new couple.  And then, the house that grew up in, that I was able to enter and walk through all through my existence, will be closed and off limits to me.  And even though I've had time to get used to that idea over the past year, and even though I have gotten used to it, it still is kind of shock.  So there was that.

And then, as the day went on, it got worse and worse.  And not only for me.  It seemed every stinking department at work was having issues, and busy, and people were getting pissed off.  And oh, it was a horrid day.  I had a headache and my shoulders got all tight.  UGH.  Although, to be honest, at the end of the day, like the last half hour, everything got a bit better.

After I left work, I went to the grocery store, and then to McDonald's, of all places, for supper.  I wanted some comfort food.  I brought it home, ate it, and then immediately regretted it. It just kinda sat in my stomach like a rock.  I laid down on the couch to read, and ended up taking a nap of about 20 minutes.  When I woke up, I felt better: no headache, no stiff neck, not tummy issues.

I putzed around online until I went up to bed to read and then to sleep.

Morning Blood Sugar Level: 114.
