Don't know where we're going, but we know, where we've been...

Today, Freddie had his last two finals (yeah, finals on Saturday! ugh! isn't that sacreligious or something!). After they were done, he was packing up and heading home to upstate New York for the holidays.

he called me and left me a message saying the car was all packed and he was on his way, only he had realized he was going the wrong direction. North is towards his home, south, is towards me, and he was heading south. he chuckled a bit in the message, and then said he'd done it just by habit. Or maybe that's what he really wanted anyway.

At any rate, he's now back in New York, adn will be until mid-January when he comes back to college. Last night, thought, we spoke and he said a lot of the students had already left, and the staff as well, so the cafeteria was serving less than appetizing food (even less than usual apparently). So all together, the people around his table used what food they hadn't eaten and decided to leave a message for the cafeteria:

Guess that's pretty clear, eh?

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Well, no, not really, it isn't. It doesn't seem like Christmas at all. Not a hint of snow so far. This weekend, the temps are supposed to be in the 60's...when they SHOULD be about 35 or so. And I've yet to hear the "12 Pain Of Christmas" song in the radio (which is actually the 13th pain of Christmas itself, but that's another post).

I just haven't gotten the Christmas spirit yet. I think it's all kinda anti-climatic, since it feels like I've already celebrated Christmas, when Freddie was here. I mean, gifts were exchanged, thank yous given, tons of paper to clean up, wrapping of the gifts in the first place, and repeated hot sex with a cute guy...ALL the Christmas traditions! (Well, the last one isn't really a Christmas tradition of mine so much as it's a Christmas WISH of mine....)

Aw, well, I still got 10 days to Christmas...we'll see.

But shouldn't I already have the two turtle doves and partridge in a pear tree? (Keith Partridge, if you please...pear tree optional.)

And this week, Os has given us a theme: A HNT with our Christmas tree! Two weekends ago, Freddie came down and helped me rearrange the living room and then put up and decorate, the Christmas tree.

You will notice me in the back, with my purple t-shirt on; Freddie kneeling in front (the Dallas Cowboys Santa hat is mine, Freddie doesn't liek football, but it's the one he wore); and the gay-iness of my tree. that is a rainbow sheet it's standing on, as well as a rainbow lighted star on top, rainbow garland (even though you probably can't see that very well) and rainbow glass ornaments. The lights are white...I didn't want to go over the top or anything, ya know?

Too much information for my head (Part 19)...

As always, these come from http://tmituesday.blogspot.com/.

1. What is the sexiest part of your (or a) lover's body? Freddie's eyes and smile when he giggles. that's quite a turn on. Course, so is his horse cock, but that's a bit too vulgar to menition.
2. What is the un-sexiest part? He's got a hairy back, which doesn't gross me out like it does some people, but it really isn't sexy at all.
3. What makes you feel sexiest … item of clothing, food, music, film, timbre of someone’s voice/accent/dialect, alcoholic beverage, etc.? What makes me feel sexiest? Oh that's easy, when i see someone's eyes checking me out, and then they make eye contact and smile with a "fuck me" look. Not that it happens all that often, but when it does, oh yeah, I'm THE man then!
4. What is you least favorite sexual position? Anything that involves me crouching down, cause my knees and ankles are NOT what they used to be. ow...
5. What do you wish your (or a) partner would do to you? Pay off my debts? Yeah that'd be pretty damn nice. Honestly, Freddie has done everything I've asked him to do sexually, and it's all been good. I guess I wouldn't mind him being a bit more aggressive sexually, but that's certainly not a problem.
Bonus (as in optional): What is the kinkiest thing you have ever done? Be one fifth of a five way? Using a banana, cucumber and whipped cream on a prior partner at his request? Been on the same bed watching as another couple had sex? Taken photos of myself and a partner involved in sex acts? I don't know, are any of them kinky?

Looking back, when I think of all those disappointments...

Just got finished watching a live action version of "The Year Without A Santa Claus". I had such high hopes. I mean, the Christmas special it's based on is my favorite. It was starring John Goodman, Delta Burke, Chris Kattan, Harvey Fierstein, Michael McKean, Carol Kane. It SHOULD have been something special.

instead.....it was horrible. Horrid. Vapid. Sad and pathetic. Overacted. Not fun or funny. Just..bad.

Santa Claus, in the cartoon, was kinda depressed and down. In this thing, he was loud, obnoxious, and just plain mean. There was some ludicris plotline about some 'new' elf named Sparky who wanted to take Santa's place. Mrs. Claus, instead of being instrumental in the whole story, was simply a second tier character, doing very little but wandering around the sets. Iggy Thistlewhite was now the mayor's son, and NOT a redhead. Dr. Laura (!!) of all people was used to spout her psychobabble mumbo-jumbo. Jingle elf was large and stupid, Janlge elf was black and obsessed with TV. Harvey Fierstein, certainly one of the gayest men to ever come out of the Bronx, is cast as Heat Mizer, in Bermuda shorts, with a Southern accent, surrounded by scantily clad women dancers in bikinis! WTF???Carson Cressley was wasted as an elf tailor...or some such thing. And it was stretched out to two hours, which was an hour too long for the original and about two hours too long for this tripe they subjected us to tonight.

This kind of crap is why I watch very little network TV anymore. I'll just stick with watching the original on DVD, it's worlds better that tonight's drivel.

I'll have a blue Christmas, without you...

this weekend, Freddie came down. he arrived Friday night and left about 10:00 this morning. He had a final in the afternoon, but that allowed him to spend last night as well. Other than going out for food, we pretty much spent the entire time inside. After this week of finals, Freddie will be heading home to NY for the holidays, so this is the last time we'll see each other until late January, at the earliest.

Friday night we exchanged gifts (of which i have photos to post in a bit). Saturday evening, we fulfilled my annual Christmas tradition: watching two Christmas programs. One is The Year Without A Santa Claus, and it's my favoriest, gayest campiest Christmas Special you'd ever wanna see, what with Heat and Cold Mizer. After that, we watched the Christmas episode of My So-Called Life, from back in 1994. It made me bawl like a baby hte first time I saw, and it's brought tears to my eyes every year since. Althought they're not sad tears, they're good tears. Anyone who's seen the episode knows what I mean. then, i opened a bottle of Asti and we had our first toast together, about each other. Freddie doesn't drink, so he only had like half a glass. i drank the rest of the bottle.

Sunday was football! Freddie worked on a power point project and other homework in the bedroom while I watched the redskins lose, which made me giggle like a schoolgirl, and later, watch the Cowboys lose, which made me cry like a schoolgirl...nah, not really. but I wasn't happy.

Most of the time, we spent cuddling on the couch, or in bed. or doing....other things in both places. Although he did work on some homework on Saturday as well, so i was online myself then. But the weekend was just spent...BEING with each other. And that was enough.

These are all the wrapped gifts, mine to Freddie on the left, Freddie's to me on the right.

This is me, with the gifts Freddie gave me: a Freddie bear, a little Dalls Cowboys Santa hat that fit it, and an Iceman action figure (the last one because I met the actor who played Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) of the X-Men movies in Toronto).

I sent Freddie over to get each of his gifts one at a time, forcing him to, naturally, bend over to get them.

Freddie bending over once again.

Oh, and isn't it sweet that he dressed up for me, putting on the button-up shirt and tying the tie himself (to prove to me that he actually could tie it, since he didn't know how to before).

I got him a very sweet, sappy, and romantic card, in which I wrote a sweeter, sappier, and more romantic message, this is him smiling at me after reading it.

this is Freddie's reaction before he finished unwrapping, but yet saw the label for, the edible undies I got him.

I also got him a teddy bear with a large erection that was named Ted E. Bear. I changed the name to Freddie Bear.

Freddie liked his red silk boxers, more perhaps than i did. We didn't actually get to play with the edible undies, but we DID play with the boxers...

Freddie is a zoo science major in college, so i got him his own Safari Party in a bucket. it's got an elephant, giraffe, hippo, lion, gazelle, cheetah, trees and rocks. All the things a zoo science major needs to build his own zoo in his dorm room.

And lastly, I made him a copy of the key to my apartment. that's him opening it now, you can see the purple keychain I put it on. You can't see the round rainbow smiley face I also attached to it.

Also, this is the bottle of Asti and my glass. Freddie's glass is further over on the table nearer him.

We took other photos, but those really aren't suitable for publication here. but I trust this gives you all an idea of our weekend.

The paper's terrified to report anything that isn't handed on a presidential spoon...

Eleanor Clift sometimes comes off sounding shrill and abrasive to me, but in this column from Newsweek online, I think she hits the nail squarely on the head. It explains quite a bit about our recent problems. It's a bit long, but worth the read.

By Eleanor Clift
Newsweek
Updated: 6:27 p.m. ET Dec 8, 2006
Dec. 8, 2006 - On the eve of a report that repudiates his son’s leadership, former president George H.W. Bush broke down crying when he recalled how his other son, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, lost an election a dozen years ago and then came back to serve two successful terms. The elder Bush has always been a softie, but this display of emotion was so over the top that it had to be about something other than Jeb’s long-ago loss.

The setting was a leadership summit Monday in Tallahassee, where the elder Bush had come to lecture and to pay homage to Jeb, who is leaving office with a 53 percent approval rating, putting him ninth among the 50 governors in popularity. The former president was reflecting on how well Jeb handled defeat in 1994 when he lost his composure. “He didn’t whine about it,” he said, putting a handkerchief to his face in an effort to stifle his sobbing.

That election turned out to be pivotal because it disrupted the plan Papa Bush had for his sons, which may be why he was crying, and why the country cries with him. The family’s grand design had the No. 2 son, Jeb, by far the brighter and more responsible, ascend to the presidency while George, the partying frat-boy type, settled for second best in Texas. The plan went awry when Jeb, contrary to conventional wisdom, lost in Florida, and George unexpectedly defeated Ann Richards in Texas. With the favored heir on the sidelines, the family calculus shifted. They’d go for the presidency with the son that won and not the one they wished had won.

The son who was wrongly launched has made such a mess of things that he has ruined the family franchise. Without getting too Oedipal, it’s fair to say that so many mistakes George W. Bush made are the result of his need to distinguish himself from his father and show that he’s smarter and tougher. His need to outdo his father and at the same time vindicate his father’s failure to get re-elected makes for a complicated stew of emotions. The irony is that the senior Bush, dismissed by Junior’s crowd as a country-club patrician, looks like a giant among presidents compared to his son. Junior told author Bob Woodward, for his book “Plan of Attack,” that he didn’t consult his father in planning the invasion of Iraq but consulted a higher authority, pointing, presumably, to the heavens.

The father also consulted a higher authority: family fixer James Baker. The Iraq Study Group, co-chaired by Baker, pulls no punches in calling Bush’s policies a failure. It’s a statement of the obvious, but when you have a collection of Washington wise men, plus retired Supreme Court justice Sandra Day O’Connor (perhaps doing penance for her vote that put Bush in the White House during the disputed 2000 race), it’s the equivalent of last rites for Bush’s Iraq policy, along with his presidency. It’s not a plan for victory because that doesn’t exist except in Bush’s fantasy. The recommendations Baker and company offer—of more international engagement and shifting U.S. troops to a backup role to Iraqi forces—may help the administration manage and mask defeat. Even so, that may be hard for Bush to accept. His body language when receiving the report, while polite, was dismissive, thanking the eminences assembled for breakfast at the White House for dropping off a copy.

This president has lost all capacity to lead. Eleven American servicemen died in Iraq on the day Bush was presented the report, which calls the situation there “grave and deteriorating.” Events on the ground threaten to overtake even this grim assessment. And we’re left to analyze Bush’s tender ego and whether he can reverse course on the folly that is killing and maiming countless Iraqis along with U.S. troops. Historians are already debating whether Bush is the worst president ever, or just among the four or five worst. He has little choice but to accept the fundamental direction of the Iraq Study Group. He’s up to his neck in quicksand, and they’ve thrown him a rope. It’s trendy to make fun of the over-the-hill types in Washington, but they’ve done a noble thing in reminding us that war is not just about spin and a way to win elections. It’s about coming together to find a way out, however unpalatable.

Bush was asked during the campaign in 2000 what would happen if he lost. He said he’d go back to Texas, watch a lot of baseball and have a great life with Laura and the girls. He’s an accidental president, a man who was vaulted into a job he wasn’t prepared for, and who treated war like a lark. Bush’s father observed between sobs in his Florida speech, “A true measure of a man is how you handle victory and how you handle defeat.” He was talking about Jeb, but surely it’s his first-born who triggers the tears.

Yeah, if Bushie Sr was crying over Jeb, he was definately shedding tears for the wrong son!

Earn me a degree and I can work weekends...

This is amazing to me, shocking I say, just shocking!

WASHINGTON - Forget the minimum wage. Or outsourcing jobs overseas. The labor issue most on the minds of members of Congress yesterday was their own: They will have to work five days a week starting in January. The horror.

Rep. Steny H. Hoyer, the Maryland Democrat who will become House majority leader and is writing the schedule for the next Congress, said members should expect longer hours than the brief week they have grown accustomed to.

"I have bad news for you," Hoyer told reporters. "Those trips you had planned in January, forget 'em. We will be working almost every day in January, starting with the 4th."

The reporters groaned. "I know, it's awful, isn't it?" Hoyer empathized.

For lawmakers, it is awful, compared with what they have come to expect. For much of this election year, the legislative week started late Tuesday and ended by Thursday afternoon -- and that was during the relatively few weeks the House wasn't in recess.

Next year, members of the House will be expected in the Capitol for votes each week by 6:30 p.m. Monday and will finish their business about 2 p.m. Friday, Hoyer said.

Hoyer and other Democratic leaders say they are trying to repair the image of Congress, which was so anemic this year it could not meet a basic duty: to approve spending bills that fund government. By the time the gavel comes down on the 109th Congress on Friday, members will have worked a total of 103 days. That's seven days fewer than the infamous "Do-Nothing Congress" of 1948.

Hoyer said members can bid farewell to extended holidays, the kind that awarded them six weekdays to relax around Memorial Day, when most Americans get a single day off. He didn't mention the month-long August recess, the two-week April recess or the weeks off in February, March and July.

He said members need to spend more time in the Capitol to pass laws and oversee federal agencies. "We are going to meet sufficient times, so the committees can do their jobs on behalf of the American people," he said.

"Keeping us up here eats away at families," said Rep. Jack Kingston (R-Ga.), who typically flies home on Thursdays and returns to Washington on Tuesdays. "Marriages suffer. The Democrats could care less about families -- that's what this says."

Those damn dastardly Democrats! How DARE they! How dare they expect Republicans to actually work FIVE days a week! What could those anti-familites be thinking!

I wonder if Rep. Kingston sees any hypocracy in what he says. After all, hes' complaining about how working five days a week is going to "eat away at his family." Does he think at all about the father who has to work five days a week at one job and then go to his second job on weekends or a few nights a week while the mother works many hours a week as well, at her part time job (for probably minimum wage, that Rep. Kingston has voted against increasing for the past dozen years or so). What effect does working so many days a week have on this couple's marriage and family?

Actually, Rep. Kingston doesn't care about those people, they don't vote for him anyway, I'm sure. And the people that do probably only work three days a week as well.

Mouthwash jukebox gasoline...

It's now been one month since we found out the results of the election, and gas prices, at least around here, have gone up 22 cents a gallon. Funny how it dropped so fast and so suddenly right after Labor Day when voters minds turn to upcoming elections, and now that's it's over, it's jackin back up again.

Couldn't have anything to do with oil company execs wanting to keep thier Republicans buddies in Congress and keep the obscene profits rolling in, could it? And now that the election's over, there's no need for them to keep the prices down.

You'll note, however, that the prices haven't shot up to the almost three dollar range they were over the summer...back when the oil execs knew Congress wouldn't take any action, not even hold hearings, on the price because the Republicans were in charge. I think the Democrats being in charge has helped keep the price down, cause the oil execs know now that if they raise it too high and too fast, the Dems would have no qualms about looking into price gouging or monopolies or what have you.

My hope is, the Democrats do all that anyway....damn greedy oil exec sons-a-bitches....

In a big semi, caught from that big mcdonalds...

This morning I was running late for work (yeah, I know how hard that is to imagine), so I skipped breakfast here at the house and decided to go to Mickey D's for a breakfast meal. When i pulled in, the drive thru was backed up. Allow me to explain.

If a car is at the second window where one picks up the food, then there is a car behind it, and then a car at the first window paying thier money. Behind this car is another car that's ordered, but not paid, and then the intercom where you place the order. When i pulled in, all of these spots were filled and there were four cars beyond the one at the intercom.

Natrually, i thought this was crazy. So i parked my car and went inside. When i got inside, what did I see? no one, not a single customer at the registers. I went over, placed my order, paid my money, got my soda, came back picked up my order and left. When I left the building, the guy that had been behind the car paying his money was jsut now up to the second window to get his food. And now there were a total of six cars backed up beyond the intercom where you order.

And still not a single individual inside at the registers.

now I'm lazy, so i know lazy, but I don't know what kind of lazy bastard isn't gonna park his car and take his fat ass inside to get food and instead just wait in a line of cars! man, that's freakin nuts! that takes lazy to a whole new level. And apparently, there's more than ONE person willing to do that because the line had 11 cars in it total!

I probably had my breakfast finished on the way to work before the last guy there got his food.

The swingin beat, do the Freddie, Freddie...

This past weekend, Freddie came down. We had Sunday night, all day Monday and Tuesday up until about 700 together. And it was great. Monday, we went shopping to a few stores and the Mall, and ate at Ruby tuesdays. He wrapped my gifts, that he brought with him. We watched Heroes and then a movie he bought. We moved some furniture around and put up my Christmas tree (I'll be using that photo for next week's HNT). He also caught up on some of his school work while I caught up on things online. We got my new camera up and running. And we just were able to "BE" together...hang out and have fun and enjoy each other. It was quite enjoyable.

This is my Freddie in a hat we found. I thought it suited him perfectly...he disagreed.

This is my homo-holiday tree with the rainbow star, garland, balls and dropcloth. the lights are all white, cause I figured rainbow lights would be just a smidge over the top. Ya think? Oh, and those are Freddie's wrapped gifts to me there as well. We'll be opening them this weekend.

This past Friday night, Aggie and i went shopping. I won't say what I bought, cause I bought stuff for people who read the blog (this means YOU, Freddie) and I don't want them to know ahead of time. But I'll tell ya how the evening went.

She met me right after work and we ate at Ledo's Pizza. I had pasta and meatballs, always a favorite of mine. She paid for the meal, God bless her. Then we piled into my car and went to the one place she wanted to go: The Locked Door. It's a local store that has adult novelties in it. Ag wanted to get something (or some things) there, i have no idea, cause I was looking as well and not paying attention to what she was buying. But I got a few things there as well. *hehehe, snicker, snicker*

After this we went to The Prime Outlets. I took us a roundabout toute to get there, cause I was trying to avoid all the traffic and lights. I think I actually did little more than make us take longer to get there. Anyhow, once we reached there, we walked past every stinking store there, that's over 100 stores. (well all except the furniture store, but that's on one end by itself and we weren't shopping for furniture) I was tired afterwards, I imagine she was as well, but I still hadn't found all that I wanted, even though we both bought some stuff (and I managed to check out a whole HORDE of hot guys as well).

So we got back in the car and off we went to our next destination: The Valley Mall. We went in and she went to...I think fashion bug where she was going to shop until I came back for her. I walked all around the Mall by myself, checking the few stores I thought would have what I needed. they didn't. But I did see more hot guys. And ran into my longest friend's twins sons and ex-wife. I chatted with them a bit, and could NOT believe the boys were ten already! Man, how time flies.

I got back with Ag and told her I needed to go to Toys R Us. She said she'd be staying in the car, and did. Inside, I got the help of cute little black kid that worked there, and he even went into the back to check for something for me. While I was waiting, I heard someone say, "Mr. Polt?" (using, of course, my real last name). i turned and there was John, and ex-client of mine who I haven't seen in quite some time. he told me it had been over four years. And he was now doing well, and blah blah blah. While I really didn't care about the details, I was glad he was fine and doing so good.

After my purchase, I went back out to the car and then we went to Target. Again, Ag waited in the car. It didn't take me overly long, i don't think. I spent more time In Toys R Us. But I still got some stuff I needed. I then drove her back to her car and we drove back to Waynesboro (all the above took place in Hagerstown Md.), and went to the Lowe's here. It didn't take long, cause I was looking for one thing, that I didn't find there. So then we went to the Wal-Mart next door. I spent much more there than I intended to, although I did get some stuff.

Not the least of which was a brand new Digital Camera. it's much nicer, and slimmer, than the old one I got almost four years ago. I like it a lot more. Mama Polt, God love her, is gonna pay for the camera for my birthday. It's great to be an only child, even if you are almost 40 years old.

After all this, Ag and I dragged ourselves home. I had gotten off work about 400, and we didn't get home until about 1030 at night. it was a VERY full evening! And productive as well. I'm not finished shopping yet, but I did get a bunch of it done. And, stuff for me as well, that always increases the fun of ANY shopping trip!

Too much information for my head (Part 18)...

Got this from http://tmituesday.blogspot.com/, as I do every week.

Have you...

1. Ever had your toes sucked on? yeah, once. Some guy I was with just leaned down and started doing it. I don't know if I enjoyed it or not, I was quite taken aback and shocked by it, so I wasn't paying attention to how it felt. i don't think it does anything for me though.
2. Ever had a hickey... sexy or trashy? Why? Once, high on my neck. Had to wear turltenecks in mid-May. Got it from some chick not my girlfriend (back when i was 'bi-sexual'), so I had to avoic her as well for a few days. Trashy, definately trashy.
3. Ever stolen from a store? If so, what? Oh Lord, I stole so much stuff when I was younger. gay porn books by the dozen (too embarrassed to go buy them even though i had the money). Other books as well. Come to think of it, I don't I stole much of anything other than books. freaky, eh? Haven't done it in over 20 years, though. Not that stupid anymore.
4. Ever got a speeding ticket? If so, how many? Oh sure. Got about 6 or 7 I think. but since I've been working in one aspect of the judicial system, I've gotten OUT of about 4 or 5 speeding tickets by showing my ID. Heheheeh, it's good to have an ID like that.
5. Ever faked an orgasm? Several times. Mostly when I had a condom on and was screwing some guy and just kinda...I don't know, lost interesting in the that part of the sex (anal sex is not a big turn on for me). So I faked the orgasm, and then went to the bathroom and threw the condom away so they couldn't see I didn't come. When i got back to bed, and was still hard, even right after a supposed orgasm, they were kind of impressed. yeah, I'm shameless.

It's about ten mintues, yeah that's a little long. But honestly, it had me laughing out loud at parts of it. And really, it's a good reminder for all the guys out there who may have forgotten, or never really know, proper Male Restroom Etiquette.

I will always be weird inside...

I've been tagged.

Semi-Celibate Man tagged me with this meme. I was rather surprised, cause he and I only really talk to one another on and about Half-Nekked Thursdays. but then I was rather honored, cause he and I only really talk to one another on and about Half Nekked Thursdays, ya know? So anyway, without further ado, I give you....

"6 Weird Things About Me"

The rules are simple.

1. Each player of this game starts with the “6 weird things about you”.
2. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly.
3. At the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says “you are tagged” in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

1. Despite being gay, I am absolutely, totally, completely incapable of dressing "hip", cooking, keeping my apartment clean or going to a gym. As I've said, if it weren't for the sucking cock thing, i probably wouldn't be gay at all.

2. The alarm clock in my bedroom is set a half hour and 6 minutes ahead of the actual time. I did this first back in college, when someone told me they set thier clock up a half hour and it helped them get to class on time. So I did too. And over the years, I've just kept it that way. All the time. And accidently, at some point, it got knocked up another 6 mintues, which I've since kept that was also. No particular reason, and now I'm just used to it.

3. I am right handed in everything thing I do except playing ping pong. I have no idea why, but since I play ping pong about as often as I clean my apartment (see #1) I don't worry about it much.

4. Scraping my toenails across anything drives me up a WALL! Even if it's my own feet or legs. It's like fingernails down a chalkboard to most people. It makes me cringe and squirm and get shivers up my spine. I think it's because about 12 years ago, I accidently caught my right big toenail on something and bent it back. It didn't fall off right away, but bleed and got real sore and eventually fell off. very very painful. And ever since then...

5. I never make my bed. I change the sheets regularly, but never "make" it. I don't see the need. I'll just mess if up again when I get in it later on. Seems a silly waste of time. Haven't "made" the bed since I was middle school, the last time my mom forced me to do it.

6. I love pasta with tomato sauce, one of my favorite foods. Don't really like any of the other sauces you can get with pasta either. Can't stand tomatos otherwise. Hate tomatoes, either cooked, or as a soup, or stuffed, or on subs or nothing. Just as pasta sauce.

For the 6 victims I'm gonna tag, i think I'll do...

Last night, Freddie came down. He spent last night, will be spending all of today and a good portion of tomorrow. Finals are next week, and his two labs, or classes or whatever that he had Monday and Tuesdays were canceled, so he came down to spend some time with me.

What's even better, this Friday he's coming down again after classes and spending Friday night, Saturday, Sunday, and then leaving Monday mid-morning cause he has a final in the afternoon. So out of 9 days, I'll be seeing him 7, which is great. What's sad is that after that Monday, I won't see him again until sometime in January as he's going home for the holidays. But I'll not dwell upon that right now.

Also, yesterday, the Dallas Cowboys beat the NY Giants, so now Dallas is 8-4, two games ahead of the next team in thier division and well positioned for the playoffs! whoo-hooo!

That this new bond gives inspiration...

Last Saturday was, as I may have mentioned, my birthday. Ghostie and Mr. David Parispeking made plans with me to go eat and then to see the new James Bond movie.

We ate a restaurant near the theater called Oliver's. I've been there before, and the food's been hit or miss, but the atmosphere is very laid back and easy to hang out in. And plus, our waiter, Chris, was quite the cutie. We had a fun time, hanging out, and making fun of each other. Mr. david parispeking picked up my meal for my birthday, how sweet, and uncharacteristic, of him was that?

I wanted us all to do a shot, and I told Chris this and that I wanted us to do a purple shot. he just kinda looked at me. i told him I didn't care what was in it, or what it was called, we just wanted something purple. he said he'd have to talk to the bartender.

he returned then in a bit with three shots. And they were purple-ish, he said that's probably the best the bartender could do. It was called something-something-raspberry-something. Like I cared. it was purple. I made a toast to my co-worker who's viewing I had gone to earlier that day, he was a helluva a guy. And Mr. David Parispeking made a toast to me almost reaching my fourth decade...how sweet of him. And then we drank them. And i gotta tell ya, it was niiiice. Couldn't taste the alcohol. Man, those are dangerous shots, cause those are the kind you could have several of, not realizing how much you're having and then stand up, have them all hit you at once, and end up on your ass.

Anywho, afterwards, we went to the theater. I wasn't really keen on a blonde haired blue eyed James Bond. but I gotta tell ya, themovie worked for me. Firstly, Daniel Craig is fucking HOTT! I mean buff and built and ripped and...sweet Mary I do him in a heartbeat. And you knwo I don't normally go for guys my own age, but him, I'd DEFINATELY make an exception.

Since he was easy on the eyes, it was much easier to take him as Jams Bond. I always found it a bit ludicris that those Bond girls were always falling over James Bond when most of the actors were way beyond thier best years and not anywhere near attractive. but Daniel Craig, yeah I could see every Bond girl, hell ANY girl falling for him.

the movie was...grittier and more realistic than other Bond films, especially the Roger Moore campy ones. No silly named vixens, or over the top villians and no outrageous silly gadgetry. And there not a "witty" quip dripping from Bond's lips every few seconds.

I really did enjoy the movie, more than most Bond films. of course, Goldfinger is still THE best bond movie. but seriously, this one is comes pretty close.

The weekends why, until we, dance into the fire...

I know I've been bitching a lot recently, about my computer and the virus that killed it and everything I lost. And that IS a big thing in my life. However, not everything over the last week has been negative. And I thought I'd share some positive things with you.

Last Friday, before I knew the virus had hit, Johnnie called me to tell me he was in town from Philly for the holiday and wanted to know if I wanted to get together. So I said SURE! And he came over.

We went to eat at the Texas Roadhouse. Good food as always. And the conversation was great as well. he and I can talk about and argue about and debate nearly any subject, from sports to movies to comic books to politics. And we pretty much covered them all. And Johnnie's pretty sharp, he keeps me on my feet during these discussions. Johnnie has just gotten a credit card, I forget if it's his first or not, but it's a new one and he just got it, so he wanted to use it, so he bought my supper, for my birthday, with his credit card. That was sweet.

Afterwards, we went to the Prime Outlets and walked around and shopped. And yes, this WAS Black Friday. But it was about 700 at night, and while it was busy, it was packed or insane. It was actually quite pleasant. We didn't buy anything until we got to Banana Republic, and then Johnnie got some clothes, a few at my insistance, mainly a purple shirt and purple checked pants. no they are NOT as hideous as they sound.

Actually, Johnnie has recently also changed his whole "look". What used to be what I'd call "sloppy preppy" is gone. he used to wear baggy, saggy khakis, and a loose button up or tee shirt and always wore these black shoes, and his hair was kinda....whichever way it happened to be that day. BUt this night he was wearing jeans, which i haven't seen him in in years. And they were tight form fitting jeans. Showed off his ass nicely, and I never even knew Johnnie HAD an ass. Also, the shirt he was wearing was tighter, fitting him better and showing off his form. And while he's not got a body builder, or fashion model physique, he does have an attractive swimmers type of build that, with these new clothes, he's not longer hiding.

I told him he looked gay, but I meant that in a good way. he was rather unimpressed by the compliment. he called this Asian chick he's kinda seeing and asked her, and she agree that not only was it a compliment, but that he did indeed look gay. But that was nice, cause gay guys are hot. he was not happy with that comversation either. You can judge for yourself, below I have two photos of Johnnie in his new look, and one with the purple outfit I persuaded him to buy.

that's my boy. And his hair, even if you can't tell, is cut, and styled. nothing fancy, but at least it shows he did something with it.

I don't want to make a long huge post here, I'll post other stuff next, and we'll wrap this one up.
