Spreadin' the good news everywhere...

Today, DC mayor Adrian Fenty (who I've seen in person several times at the DC Pride Parade and who's quite the cutie) went along with 11 members of the 12 member DC council and is now allowing gay marriages in other places to be recognized as marriages in DC itself. It's not actual gay marriage for DC residents, but it's a step in the right direction. And he said it's likely gay marriage itself isn't too far off in DC's future.

And who was the lone stand out on the DC council? Former DC mayor, convicted felon, crack smoking, prostitute visiting Marion Berry. If all the anti-gay groups can muster as spokespeople are this guy and the Miss California blonde chick, well, hell, they're preactically doing our work FOR us. Keep up the good work, anti-gays!

I'm starting to agitate like crazy for RI to be next. I may just visit the house speaker and senate president next week and plead the case.
