Missing you, I'll be missing you....

Tonight, right at this very minute, in NYC, the Third (nearly annual) Puntabugetogether is taking place.  And I'm missing it.  For the first time.  Yes, in 2009, Dave S. and I made our way there and surprised a group of otherwise unsuspecting 8 Puntuabupeeps for karoke, dinner, drinks, and then walking around NYC the next day.  And in 2010, I went to Lawn-NG OY-land for a Puntabupoolparty at Craiggers' parent's place.

This year, the always lovely and Canadian Tam was coming to NYC this weekend, and invited the whole flock over to the apartment she was renting.  I tried to find someone to go with me, but was unsuccessful.  And since I've got a mortgage now, I can't afford a hotel room in Manhattan alone.  So I had to miss this one.

I did call them and speak to most of them there.  I was surprised at how sultry and sexy Adam's voice sounded, I recall it like that.  but since he's become obsessed with my ass (and I know if you're not following cockyandrude, you've got no idea what I'm talking about...but really you SHOULD be following it!), maybe that's influenced how he speaks to me.  I suppose that voice is what Mr. Sombrero hears frequently, lucky devil.

At any rate, while they're partying it up in NYC, painting the City The Never Sleeps all kinds of red, what am I doing?  Let me show you:

Sitting on my sofa in my camo shirt and superhero pajama pants, crying my eyes out with a bottle of strawberry wine and a bag of Hershey's minatures for comfort, watching cheesy 90's Russian gay porn on the laptop in front of me (but just out of the picture).

Pffft, I've had weirder Saturday nights.
