As I was coming home from work, I decided I needed a laugh so I got the right wingnut radio station to listen to Laura "Screeching Harpy" Ingraham. Only Screeching Harpy wasn't on, some other guy was hosting her show instead. Some idiot joker that I had never heard of before.

He was commenting on the show thrower and how it just proves the Iraqi war was a disaster because obviously, they, the Iraqi people, don't appreciate us. Apparently they're not thankful enough that we 'liberated' them, (by destroying their country, making many of them refugees forced to flee their homes, and killing countless numbers of them), and just a bunch of ingrates, so the whole Iraqi war there fore was a mistake.

Idiot.

But then he took it a whole new level I'd never even heard Screeching Harpy go to. A caller stated that the show that missed Bushie hit the American flag standing behind him. And the stand in host went nuts. How DARE that man's shoe hit OUR flag! Well, he (the host) just hoped that the shoe thrower gets to spend most of his life in prison for his actions, if not the death penalty. In fact, as far as he (the host) was concerned, the people in the room at the time should have rushed him and ripped his arms off and beat him to death with them, for daring to throw a shoe at Bushie and hitting the flag.

.............yeah, and he wonders why the world hates us.

So we should dismember and kill someone who throws footwear at our leader and hits a flag, but that same leader, who used outright lies to get until a war wherein thousands of US military personnel have been killed and thousands more maimed and injured, shouldn't even be impeached, much less be charged for his crimes criminally?

And THIS is the type of 'democracy' we want to spread around the world????????

People like Ingraham and her ilk strike me as having some seriously loose screws in their heads.

Maybe their bread needs to be baked a bit longer. Or they're not playing with a full deck. Perhaps the lights are on but no one is home. Or they don't have both oars in the water.

I think you get my point.
