I feel the need to be naked with you (Part 21)...

It's that time once again: Half Nekkid Thursdays!

Okay, so this week, I have the following: a shot of myself fresh out of the shower. I didn't even take time to use a towel, and I am TOTALLY naked in the photo!

And the way my hair is, it looks kinda like horns, which would make me horny, eh? Well what did you expect, me to show you a photo of myself actually BEING naked? Please, that's something I neither want to show nor you want to see.

If you want to know what all this is about, click on the HNT button in the sidebar on the left.

Alison, I know this world is killing you...

(This photo concept is stolen - er, um, BORROWED from Dan's Blog. Thanks man.)

So, I got some notes from this week's episode. They are as follows:

Laura's in the riding outfit again?
Robert: Shut up! I don't want to work with trash! (can he sound anymore gay?)
Laura: Fur trim out of shredded paper. She's gotta have trim on everything!
Kanye: "I grew up white trash and dumpster diving." Somehow, I have no problem believing that.
Victor: "I'm gonna make art." Hmm, wonder if that art comes with a stupid hat.
Whilst dishing the dirt like the pair of divas they are, I noticed Robert sounds an awful lot like Forrest Gump.

Commerical Breaks:
Those Orbitz commercials, while originally funny and cool, and now trite, repetative and boring...even with the lesbian couple on it.
I have no idea WHAT Bombay Sapphire is, I'm assuming some sort of alcohol. But despite not knowing, I want to go on out and buy a bottle or two just cause of the hot HOT guy with the samuri sword chopping away at the ice in that commerical!
Is anyone else as bored with that lesbian chick trainer as I am? Thank God it's almost over.
Kara Janx is now taking us around New York instead of Tim Gunn. Does anyone REALLY care that she loves nature and the BOtanical Gardens? Kara is SOOO last season.
Budweiser Select: the one where the five spoked 'crown' keeps popping up, in a guy's spiked hair, and the tired tread of a motorcycle, and the rip in one girl's pants, etc. I LOVE that commercial. not so much for the commercial itself, but for the music. I have just discovered today that the song is "Galvanize" by The Chemical Brothers, and I got it off iTunes today and have listened to it about 10 times so far!
Million Dollar Listing: WHY??? Why would anyone care? Why would anyone watch this? I'll never live there, the housed are overpriced, and everyone from the customers, to the agents, to whomever, sounds rude, snobby, pissy and arrogant. Yeah, just what I want to watch on TV: rich people with more money than God piss and moan over homes that cost more than I have so far in all my life! Please.

And we're back:
Vincent thinks his is a party dress? Maybe a party dress where the wearing got drunk, fell in some sticky substance and then rolled around in the trash.
They're showing a lot of Alison. Considering the look of her dress so far, I think that does NOT bode well for her.
Is it REALLY true that "In fashion, one day you're in, and the next day you're out"?
Um, one question...what is a Brioche (I have no idea how to spell that)?

Who's the toughest judge? NINEGARCIA! As if there were any doubt.

The outfits!
Uli: Very nice. It didn't look like trash at all. I was impressed.
Angela: Is it a 60's go-go dress...or a female alien costume from the original Star Trek? Ick.
Michael: Very nicely done, very dignified. Very wearable.
Vincent: "It got me off" he says. Twice. Perhaps he should spend less time "getting off" and more time designing decent dresses.
Robert: Looks good. I liked it.
Jeffrey: Dammit. I really like this one. I HATE saying that, cause I HATE him. but I think he did an excellent job!
Laura: Oh that's HORRIBLE. It looks like a dress for a 5 year old girl. Dipped in starch. It doesn't move at all. She might be in trouble.
Alison:Oh it's horrible. The hair! No symetry to the outfit...too bulgey. Just really bad.
Kayne: No..it doesn't work any better than the big green sheet of paper he had first.

Best: Jeffrey, Uli, Michael
Worst: Alison, Angela, Laura

Winner: Jeffery; Loser: Alison.
***************************
Well, I was half right. I knew as soon as it came down to her and Vincent she was gone. Vincent has much more drama potential then Alison, no WAY are the producers gonna let him go this soon!

If we're lucky, maybe next week though!

Justin Timberlake is not in awe of Taylor Hicks’ talent.

“People think he looks so normal, and he’s so sweet and he’s so earnest, but he can’t carry a tune in a bucket,” Timberlake told Fashion Rocks, a supplement of Vanity Fair. Timberlake also thinks that Hicks’ fame is fragile. “If [Hicks] has any skeletons whatsoever, if God forbid, he’s gay, and if all these people in Mississippi who voted for him are like [then he takes on a thick southern accent], ‘Oh my god, I voted for a queer!’ It’s just too much pressure.”

The “Justified” singer has mixed feelings about “American Idol,” the show made Hicks famous. “I have a strange relationship with that show,” he said. “I despise it, yet I’m completely fascinated.”

Hmm, "can't carry a tune in a bucket" - well he's right there. And as for the gay comment, ya think maybe old Justin's been agonizing about that himself?

Say she like to think about cuttin in restrooms...

Today, I went out to lunch. On the way back, I stopped in the parking lot to talk to a co-worker. It wasn't super hot or humid like it had been a few weeks ago, but it was warm, a little sticky, and I was standing out in the sun, so I started to sweat a little bit. Got a slight sheen of sweat on my torso.

Upon getting back into the building, I had to, as we say, take a dump. SO I went into the bathroom. Now our bathrooms at work are uni-sex. Basically, there's a toilet, sink and mirror in a small room and that's it. SO I went in, pushed my pants and underwear down around my ankles, as I always do, and proceeded to do my business.

(Yeah, I know this is gross so far, bear with me, though...)

As I said I had been sweating, and was still damp. So, since I was wearing a pullover short sleeve shirt, I just pulled my arms out of it, but left it around my neck. That way I wouldn't mess up my hair, and I wouldn't have to put the shirt on the floor amongst God only knows what else has been on that floor. And, with the a/c blowing around, it might dry some of the sweat.

So, take a second and, no matter how unpleasant it may be, picture the scene: Uncle Polt, ont he shitter, pants and boxers around his ankles, shirt laying loosely around his neck and on his shoulders.

And it was then, kids, that I realized I hadn't locked the bathroom door. How did I realize this? Wait for it....wait for it..... Cause it was at that moment the door opened! And this door doesn't open slowly, oh NO. It flew open. And there was a different co-worker already one foot, most of a leg, and a good portion of his upper body in the doorway.

Well, naturally, I did what anyone would do in that situation. I screamed. I screamed like a lil girl who had just seen a spider. I screamed like a baby for it's mama. I screamed like every slasher victim in every slasher movie. I saw my co-worker, whom we'll call Jon, cause I'm certain he wouldn't want his real name used jump, physically jump. I saw his head jerk up at me and scream as well. I'm hoping he was screaming at the fact I startled him with my scream, and not the view he was presented with, but who can tell for sure.

And neither of these screams were a short, polite little "Oh!" Oh hell no. They were more like "AHHHHHHH!" and "YAAAAAAAA!" something along those lines. After a seemingly endless scream time, Jon yanked the door shut and I heard from the other side, "I'msorrysorrysorrysorry!" To which I replied, "Oh no, man, I'm sor-" but he cut me off by saying, further in the distance, "Sorrysorrysorry..." as he quickly walked away.

Taking a few seconds to recover, I started to chuckle through my embarrassment. And I KNOW I was embarrassed, cause my face was not just warm but HOT! In fact, I believe I'm blushing again as i type this. And then I realized, the door STILL wasn't locked! And that took away any remaining need I had to do anything more there.

I got up, kinda hunched over, and leaned over to lock the door (thank God the room is small), and then...tidied myself up. I washed my hands and left. I stood in the hallway, half expecting people to come running at any minute cause I was certain our screaming could have been heard at least two counties away, but no one came.

Jon's office wasn't too far away, and I thought he might have been wondering why I was sitting there mostly undressed. So I mustered my courage and went there. His door was open. I knocked on it as I stepped in and said, "Hey, Jon, in case you-"

He looked up from his desk, a glare in his eye as if I'd just kicked his dog. "Nothing happened and we shall NEVER speak of this again." I smiled cause I thought he was being funny so I said, "Yeah, but-" and he cut me off by making one of those "zipper" moves across his lips, and then he looked back down to the paperwork on his desk.

I shrugged and headed back to my own office. And I've not seen Jon since then. I might run into him tomorrow, and I need to think of something suitably funny and yet disturbing enough to set him off, since the whole thing is somehow apparently bothering him more than me.

Found this online. It seems some company did a survey, polling somewhere around 1,200 people. These are the abyssmal results:

People that know Krypton is Superman's home planet - 60%
People that know Mercury is the closest planet to the sun - 37%

People that can name all three Stooges (Moe, Larry, Curly) - 74%
People that can name all three branches of Government (Executive, Legislative, Judicial) - 42%

People that can name the most recent winner of American Idol (Taylor Hicks) - 23%
People that can name the most recent Justice to the Supreme Court (Samuel Alito) - 11%

People that can name two of the Seven Dwarfs - 75%
People that can name two of the justices on the Supreme Court - 25%

At least I take some heart in knowing on 23% knew the American Idol winner. Perhaps there IS hope...

Not to brag, but I knew all the correct answers. I figured the Palace visitors to be a pretty knowledgable lot, so tell me, how many of you knew the answer to all 8 questions?

Oh, just in case you were interested: Doc, Sleepy, Sneezy, Happy, Grumpy, Dopey, and Bashful. And the Supreme Court membership is Roberts, Stevens, Ginsburg, Kennedy, Breyer, Souter, Alito, Scalia, Thomas.

Don't give a damn about my education...

I see all these Meme's floting about and people getting tagged left and right, and now, finally, I get my first tagging! Becca (bless her soul) has taken my Meme cherry.

A School Meme
How many schools did you go to? One elementary K-6, One Junior High 7-9, One Senior High 10-12.
Teacher's nightmare or teacher's pet? Oh teacher's per, definitely. I was kissing ass from a way a young age.
Did you have a "label" in school (i.e. nerd, jock, loner, etc)? Hmm, I don't think so. I actually could fit into any cliche except the potheads and the Future Farmers Of America. I knew people in the jocks, the nerds, the brains, the school spirited, the band geeks, the drama queens, the party animals, etc, etc. I didn't belong to one, but could blend in with any as needed.
What was the biggest rule you broke in school? Geez, I don't know that I broke any. I didn't skip a class until the end of my Senior Year. i did steal the boxers of this really hot guy from his locker during gym, and I brought them hope for all kinds of debauched purposes, but no one caught me doing that. Perhaps it was attempting to organize a "sit in" to protest the taking away of an assembly we wanted. It broke up when the prinicpal threatened everyone with detention and "this going on your permanent record".
Were you in any clubs or organizations? I was the Business Editor of our Yearbook, and I worked backstage on the plays "Carousel" and "Oklahoma".
Did you have any nicknames in school? Topher. My name is Chris, so they called me the last half of Christopher. Not as bad as a friend of mine named Steve, but who we call Nnn.
Three subjects you enjoyed? Government, history, geography.
Three teachers that inspired you? Mr. Ebersole, high school Social Stuides teacher. He made me want to be a teacher, which what I first majored in in college. Mrs. Kulp, 11th Grade English, cause somehow she found out I was writing that superhero story, and God bless her, she read through every notebook I had written left helpful comments, and encouraged me to write more. And Mr. Mackley, Sociology, a truly funny and entertaining man, who nonetheless managed to get you to learn something from his stories, whether you wanted to or not.
Would you go back again and do it over? Hmm, yeah, probably, as long as i could know then what I know now.
Any major fashion faux paus? Oh, sweetie, it was the 80's. Huge shoulder pads, Jersey hair, hair metal, the Yugo, Ronald Reagan, there's a LOT of faux pas from the 80's. And yeah, I partook of them as much as anyone else. I'll just say, I didn't discover hair gel until the 90's, so needless to say, my hair was ALWAYS a faux pas.

And now I think I'm supposed to tag a few other people, so I'll go with The Persian, Jason, Ag, Katarina, Velma. If you wanna play, have at it kids!

1. Have you ever had sex at someone else's house during a party? Details? Once, in the bathroom. It was just head from a guy I met at the party. Does that count?
2. Ever tried to replay the famous scene from From Here to Eternity? How was it? No.
3. Do you like pain during sex? No. Well, maybe some light, non-painful pain. Spankings, perhaps? Little bites maybe? Something like that.
4. On a scale from 1-10, how promiscuous were you during your college years (whether you went or not)? 10. Numerous different guys each week. Yeah, I was slut. Damn lucky I didn't catch anything worse than crabs.
5. At what age do you think men and women reach their sexual peak? Do you think you have hit yours yet? Men, about 17. Women, I have no idea. I am so far past my peak I can't even see it again. I mean, I can still function quite well, but the days of 4 or 5 masturbation sessions a day are LONG gone.
Bonus (as in optional): Do any of your ex's have naked photos or movies of you still? Yeah, I think one ex has one photo he took. I was blindfolded and didn't what he was doing until I heard the flash. Bastard. He said he'd delete the photo, but i doubt he did.

Like highway robbery and sometimes it's peanuts...

In a town near me there is this great store Greencastle Coffee Roasters. I love it not for the coffee (which i understand is varied and great, but I don't like coffee) but because they have Swedish fish, and even moreso, peanuts!

Roasted peanuts they roast there and sell by the bag: 1.2 pound, 1 pound, 3 pound and 5 pound. And the best part is, on Sundays and Wednesdays, the 3 and 5 pound bags are a dollar a pound! I've got me a hankering for peanuts, so when I was by there yesterday, i got a 3 pound bag. I brought it home and have made my way through a good portion of it.

I love shelling the peanuts, but I feel like an idiot when I do. See, as I shell them, the shells all come off in pieces. So I get shell, and the thin lining of around the nuts, all over whatever I'm opening the over. As well as myself, and the floor, and in my hair, and on the person next to me, on small household pets milling about, etc, etc, etc. I was covering in peanut debris, but I was content with the fruits...or nuts, or my labors.

Then, a few weeks back, I was enjoying some peanuts while hanging out with some friends. And as we talked, I noticed one friend take a peanut, squeeze it gently and had it pop open right in half. He then easily withdrew the nuts and discarded everything, with no mess. I was astonished! "How did you do that?" I asked. He didn't know what I meant, so I said, "Opened that nut without getting it all over."

"Oh you mean like this?" he said and then did it AGAIN! I was flabbergasted! I thought perhaps the first time was just luck, but NO, he actually could do it. All I could say was, "How..how..how..."

A second friend then said, "You mean you can't do it?" And he easily and cleanly popped a nut open! I was dumbstruck. They showed me how they were doing it, and had me try. And I couldn't do it. Oh, about every fifth or sixth nut I could open it, but with the remainer, now I was covered in their shattered remains. And my friends laughed at me, not only that I couldn't do it, but at my feeble attempts. SO I gave up, and just went back to ripping the shells apart.

But even now, as I eat some of these, I think of how they did it, and feel quite inferior. Aw screw 'em, at least I HAVE peanuts to eat! i bet hey don't! So there!

Now, imagine that about three years ago, you met someone who was totally your type and who you hit it off with really really well, BUT who was straight (okay, i guess you're gonna have to try to imagine you're gay as well. Whatever, just deal...), and in fact was living with his girlfriend when you met him. Nonetheless, the two of you became really good friends.

Now, after a time, you drift apart, as friends do. You still keep in contact with occasional phone calls and Christmas cards and such, but nothing like you once had. And then, almost by accident, you get back to being close again. Only he's "playing the field" now, dating girls, but no one seriously. And you hang out together and fun like old times.

Now imagine, being with him and having him tell you, "Ya know, I'm tired of chicks. I wanna try to guys, just to see what it's like." And he's chosen you to be the first guy he's with, IF you're interested.

IF I'm interested?????? WTF???

Vacation, all I ever wanted, vacation, have to get away. - The Go-Go's

And I should be ashamed, a carnival...

So this week was the Annual Volunteer Fireman's Carnival in town.

Whoo-freakin-hoo.

I commented on this last year, even managed to get a photo or two of the pathetic yer scary undertakings. This year, no such luck. the carnival frankly scared me. Or more accurately, the people that attend the carnival. It's all kinda freaks. They must import some of the freaks from surrounding states, cause I'm sure my little town and the area communities could not POSSIBLY have that many freaks. Heavy women that believe tight spandex looks good; 18 year old girls with 5 kids...all to different fathers; guys with more ink in their skins than in the pens in my apartment; everyone smoking, even the 12 year olds; all the obvious inbreeding cousins; rednecks by the score; people who have been to more NASCAR races than they have teeth in their heads; even a few of the outcast Goth kids. I'd wager the ferris wheel there has a higher IQ than the aggregate total of all the carnival's partons.

The only positive thing I can say about it is that the hamburgers and fries they make there are unparalleled around here. Now i don't know what their special ingredient is (perhaps they use the same grease year after year for the fries, or perhaps it's a special kind of roadkill in the burgers), but that is some damn fine eats they have there. And every year, I got down one night and get a burger and fries...while it's still light out, cause after dark...oh who KNOWS what lurks down there?

And this year, I figured I'd share the experience with Phoenix, if he dared to come along. (yeah, actually, I just didn't want to wander down there alone and disappear somewhere between the Tilt-A-Whirl andthe House of Mirrors). And he said yes.

So this past Thursday, we ventured down (waaaay before it got close to sunset), got the food, brought it back here and ate it. And it WAS damn fine. He said the Polish Sausage was pretty good too (I wonder if there were actual Poles in it?) SO I did my duty and contributed to the Fire company for this year. My civic duty quota is now complete, right?
