Jakeem Thunder
DC Comics' Jakeem Thunder first appeared in Flash #134 in February 1998. During WWII, there was a superhero named Johnny Thunder, who controlled a magic thunderbolt. As Johnny Thunder aged, he began to suffer the loss of his mental faculties and put the thunderbolt into an ink pen. He gave the pen to the first Flash, Jay Garrick, and he, in turn, gave it to the teenaged street kid.
Jakeem discovered the Thunderbolt inside the pen and used it to aid members of the Justice League and Justice Society in a mission. Subsequently, Jakeem became a part time member of the JSA.
Jakeem controls the magic thunderbolt. He can have the thunderbolt do almost anything, but has to be careful how he words things, because the thunderbolt takes all commands literally.
