Of my sorrow and regret, a memorial...
To all the American visitors to the Palace , I say, HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY.

Yes, tell that to George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and the other war hawks. They're very good at suppressing the fact that boys are coming home in boxes because of their ill conceived and stupid war.
Oh they've met their goal, which was to enrich themselves and their buddies.
My Nephew Brian died the day after Christmas he was full of life and only 25 years old. It seems like such a waste. I visited his grave yesterday on a windswept hill surrounded by graves of old people. It seemed so out of place for one so young. I miss him and his laughter which I'll never hear again.
