Living Lightning
Living Lightning first appeared in Avengers West Coast #63 in October 1990). Miguel Santos was in a deserted warehouse and accidentally activated a machine that bathed him in strange energy, that gave him his super powers. After a rocky start, he joined the Avengers West Coast team, but eventually went to Reserve status to concentrate on his college studies. He can turn into a being of living electrical energy, with the powers that entails. He dated some women while an Avenger, but then came to terms with sexuality, and is now an out gay superhero.
