Starman
Starman first appeared in 1st Issue Special #12 in March 1976. Mikal Tomas was an alien from Talok III who came to Earth to help conquer it, but then turned against his own people and helped defeat them. Then he remained on Earth as a short lived hero. He could fly and had a sonic medallion that became embedded in his chest. It allows him to fire energy beams. He suffered from amnesia for a long time before gaining his memories. Later, he was in relationship for over a decade with his partner Tony, which only ended upon Tony's death.
