Pied Piper
The Pied Piper first appeared in The Flash vol 1 #106 in May 1959. Harley Rathaway was born deaf, but he got hearing implants paid for by his wealthy family. After this, all his life, he worked on sonic technology, eventually developing a way to hypnotic through music. He grew bored with his life and turned to crime.
When he eventually retired, he became an advocate for the poor and came out as a gay man. When he resumed his Pied Piper persona this time it was a hero.
