The House of Representatives passes funding for the soldiers in Iraq, with the inclusion of a timetable for withdrawl. Bushie goes before the cameras and angrily threatens a veto and warns the Democrats not to be partisan with thier support of the troops or the funding.
Today, surprisingly, the Senate passes the same resolution. It surprising because the Republicans had the votes to sustain a filibuster, if they had wanted to prevent this legislation from even coming to a vote. But they said, essentially, that they are tired of carry the water for Bushie and using thier politcal capital on what HE wants, especially when it's clear an overwheming majority of Americans do NOT want this.
So, when the bill reaches the president's desk, shouldn't he follow his own words and not be partisan with the troops or thier funding and sign the legisaltion into law? Anyone wanna be he's gonna do that? And if you do, I got this real nice bridge in New York that's up for sale.

Thing is....Bushwack didn't even need to open his mouth about it...ya know he would veto it when it gets to his desk and would never have the 2/3's vote of both the house and senate to actually pass. Bushwack opening his mouth was just a waste of energy....but he was right....just political theater....something for the paid politicians to do in the meantime. When it comes down to really paying them the 2/3's needed won't be there to overide the veto.

i try not 2 listen 2 anything he says coz it drives me crazy. i heard dad talkin about it he just worried bout the troops and them not having what they need and i agree but if we bring them home then they will have wha they need right?
Bushie is like a child. You know how they go from one toy to another. He is also a bully. He is poking his finger on Iran's chest now. Soon they will push back and he'll get wood as our boys go to a new place to die. So sad, for us that is.
