Imus calls a black girls basketball team "nappy haired ho's". He then apologizes numerous times. he's suspended for two weeks, dropped by both MSNBC and CBS radio, and is demonized in all branches of the media.
Ann Coulter calls John Edwards a "fag". She never apologzies and.......nothing happens. No repercussions, no days of condemnation by the media. Oh, some bloggers are upset, Olbermann does a piece on it one night. But that's about it.
He apologizes and is still penalized. She revels in her crudeness, and nothing at all happens. Can anyone explain this to me?

I feel your pain. Its sad that society still thinks calling someone a "fag" is acceptable. To me its along the same lines as calling someone the "n-word." We've come so far but we still have a very long way to go.
Ann Coulter is just a nut job. To even acknowledge what she called John Edwards would be to validate it.....and since no one really listens to her they wouldn't be listening if she apologized either.
On the other hand.....if she did ever apologize I suppose she might risk getting fired......????......kind of like incriminating yourself and asking for the punishment....????....or something like that.....????.....
She really is just a nasty smelly sanjaya anyway...........
