My condolence, you're indefinite, you're incompetent, inconsiderate, you're so childish...

Arizona Senator Jon Kyl has been griping and complaining a lot about the stimulus package, stating that he thinks the government should just "cancel" the remainder of it since the stimulus is "not working".

The Obama adminstration took him at his word, and four different cabinet members sent letters to Arizona's governor asking her is she didn't want the stimulus funds, as Senator Kyl suggested.

The governor replied back that she did indeed want the funds and was shocked that the administration would attempt to deny the citizens of Arizona the funds they were entitled to.

The other Arizona Senator, one John McCain, spoke up then, saying that he agreed with Senator Kyl and yet could not believe the Obama administration would threaten the citizens of Arizona like this.

*SIGH*...where to begin? Firstly, perhaps Senator Kyl shouldn't suggest things unless he wants them implimented. Second, the Governor of Arizona might do well to explain to her Junior senator that he shouldn't suggest things that he wouldn't want to happen to his state. And thirdly, how can McCain be FOR Kyl's statement, but against keeping stimulus funds from his consituents?

AND, on a different, but similar issue, Texas governor Rick Perry has authorized his state to borrow $600 million dollars from the Federal Government to cover some expenses while just a short while ago, having denied $500 and some million dollars in stimulus funds.

I guess we should take from this one of two things: 1) Either these high ranking politicians have no idea what they're doing, and are clearly incompetant and should be voted out of office, or 2) it's more hypocrasy from Republicans, and we shouldn't expect anything else.

Give 'em enough bullets and the idiot Republicans shoot themselves in the foot every time.

That.

Oh, and I love "threat". Since when has "ask" been synonymous with "threat"?
