This is halloween and everybody scream...

I got this clip from FDot's blog, you can blame him. It's The Paul Lynde Halloween Special from 1976! Yes, the title is frightening enough, and the disco line dancing with Paul Lynde himself singing is just nightmare inducing. But the most horrifying, or most hilarious, part is the line-up. Get this...

The Paul Lynde Halloween Special, starring Paul Lynde.

Also starring:
Kiss
Florence Henderson
Tim Conway
Pinky Tuskadaro
Margaret Hamilton, the original Wicked Witch Of The West
Witchie-poo
Betty White
Billy Barty
and....Donnie and Marie!

It was written in part by Bruce Villanch.

And the according to the credits, the trucks were provided curtesy of Peterbilt Motors, which condsidering this is a Paul Lynde special, is rather ironic.

But really, all these words simply can't compare to the video itself.

Scarier than any slasher flick you've ever seen, eh? Oh, only in the 70's could something like this happen.

They don't make them like that anymore, thank god.

Remember the Pinky snap/clap? And Leather's move?

Those 70's variety shows were wild and wacky.
